My Amarya box finally turned up today, and the last of my £10 subscription, so in a quandary what to do, as trying to keep my monthly subs down. It was a nice box, althoughI was hoping for a brighter shade (I got Gie Gie), but like it now (nice to try something different), and already have the body butter (it looks good though). I love the Green People brand, so looking forward to trying the cleanser
A good box as usual. I've also had a dispatch email from Birchbox.New forum. New sig. Yes I still need to lose 2 stone!0 -
Got my Birchbox today - I'm pretty happy with it2ml sample of Molton Brown Valbonne perfume. Perfect timing as I'm going away for a couple of days hand luggage only on ryanair. Sample is in a little atomiser rather than one of those annoying stick things.
Laura Geller Gel Liner (full Size)- In black, so probably won't use it. Cute product though.
Yu-Be Moisturiser - 3g sample in a tube. Probably not enough to work out if I like it or not
La Sultane De Saba Body lotion - 30ml. Not sure about the smell of this at all.
RMK Cleansing Balm - 25g Sample. Smells lovely, like turkish delight.
2 Extras in the box
Sachet of Sanctuary Thermal Transformation Mask. (2 step so a sachet of each)
Little heart shaped tin of Lindor, these are going in my desk drawer in case of chocolate emergencies!!
I'm really pleased to receive it so quickly this time, as my last box was pretty late.0 -
I got the same as you kittykarate, and really like itI think there is a slight variation in some boxes, as some people got purple eyeliner, and/or a beauty blender instead of the cleanser. The beauty blender would have been great for cream/liquid foundations, and cream blush, but I actually love rose scented products, and it looks very nourishing, and I will use my eyeliner.
I don't normally like perfume samples, but like the scent of this, and the handy spray
It's a good value box.
I also really like my nail polish from my Amarya box now, it's a really delicate light metallic pink. So different from what I normally use which is what beauty boxes are all about.
I won the LuxBox, and Vintage Cosmetic Companies "Be My Valentine" competition which I'm thrilled about as is worth a whopping £190. Looking forward to receiving it all! :TNew forum. New sig. Yes I still need to lose 2 stone!0 -

I received my birchbox today:
/ a I hated it, sorry but there is not alot to like:
Molton Brown perfume sample - am fed up of these tiny perfume samples, I just pass them on. I don't think they should be included in the boxes.
Yu.Be hydrating moisturiser. Smells of vicks, tiny sample 3ml. Again horible, has already gone in bin.
Laura Geller eye liner- okay but it does not retail for £25 sells in use for around 16 dollars so about £10. Not a fan of gel liners so this will be given away.
RMK cleansing balm. Sorry but I hate the smell of roses so won't use.
La saltane de sala body lotion. Contains mineral oil as second ingredients which is actually a by product of turning crude oil into petrol, very cheap and not good for you so another product going in the bin.
A santuary sample - have had this in another beauty box not so long ago, so okay.
Tin of lindor chocolates- probably the only thing I will use but will probably regift.
I think it is awful and I would to have liked to have tried the beauty blenders that have been in other people boxes. They seem to have followed glossy with different standards of boxes which is such a shame. I am unsubsribing, too many boxes and really did not like the box.0 -
Hi, I'm from the US and own a sub box website devoted to boxes here. I am really excited to read about boxes from outside the US, to see how the GlossyBoxes and BirchBoxes differ, etc. I get a lot of subs but they are just US. If anyone wants to see a particular box I'd be happy to show pictures or a description here provided I've got it. I'm enjoying reading up on the boxes from outside US!0
