I got my Birchbox, I got the same as everyone else, and it was well worth waiting for.

I especially love the foundation, as have only just started getting into them, after some disasters with it in my 20s. I got shade Bijou 03, which is a good match for my skin. I'm also loving the Vichy spray as seems to do something (even though it's just water!).

Loving the whole box, but now am in a quandary as will be keeping my subscription as it really is a good box.

I recieved 2 in the end?? 1 Through royal mail and then another through yodel (minus my postcode!) Have emailed them to return one! Even though it is a fab box- hopefully they'll tell me to keep it!!!!!

I wasn't expecting too much as Joliebox were always a little disappointing for me, although ok. Birchbox seemed to have cracked it, so will definitely be keeping my sub! Their customer service is also very prompt, and courteous, a big plus from me.

My box came with Yodel late yesterday (Wednesday), but I had an email on Tuesday saying that I will be getting a replacement box via RM as until now had been missing! I think it must have been sitting somewhere for the past couple of weeks. :mad:

Looks like I'll be emailing them also if I get two. Wish they'd used RM to begin with.

Ok I've taken the plunge and ordered a years subscription for birchbox! Well it's partly a Mother's Day prezze ( I'm informing the hubby when he gets in from work ) hope it's as good as it looks!:)

For people who have tried both birchbox and glossy box, which do you prefer?

I get glossy box atm but have heard a lot of good things about birchbox and don't really want to splash out on both..

Just convinced my sis to take a years subscription for the glossy box for my birthday ( which is ages away!!;)) and Mother's Day:) can't wait now to receive my first boxs! Oh just to add when I took out the year sub for the birchbox I received 145 points which was worth £10:) also don't forget quidco for the birch box and top cash back for the glossybox:D

Have been AWOL for a bit, PC issues, poorly children etc but have just got my Amarya box...

I really love it, got a Green People make up remover, a nice small travel bag size, not used it before but will try it out.
Alison Claire mango body butter - smells divine, feels thick and lovely and love the pump tube it comes in, deff might have to buy this.
And a Zoya polish from the new collection which I'm happy about............except I bought this exact shade 2 weeks ago!! Argh! So if anyone has something other then 'Julie' and wants to swap then please let me know, am so gutted it's the same shade (not that it's Amaryas fault just s0ds law!)

Overall more than happy with the box, would have been super happy if it was a different shade.

Got my Glossybox today, it was free so my blood pressure is safe this month! Spoilers in white

4ml Nails Inc polsh in red.
7ml Elizabeth Arden 8 hour cream
Jelly Pong Pong Lip Blush
Juicy Couture 'Couture La La' sample
100ml TreSemme extra hold hairspray

I quite like the perfume sample which surprised me as it contains white florals which I usually hate (but at 37 I think I'm a bit mature for a Juicy Couture scent!)

The nail varnish and 8 hour cream were very small sizes. I have a tube of 8 hour cream already, but I find I very rarely use multi-use products. If I have dry hands I'll reach for a hand cream, dry lips - lipbalm, etc.

The Jelly Pong Pong lip product is a rip-off of Clinique Chubby Sticks. Mine is a blue-toned pink which is a colour I avoid because I have warm toned skin so blue pinks make me look jaundiced. Just as well that I'm not tempted because apparently it contains some dodgy ingredients!

It's a very low value box. I only see myself using the 8 hour cream (eventually) and the hairspray. I don't think perfume samples should count as an item. I'm very keen now to just cash in my other free boxes and cancel!

L'Occitane Immortelle Creme Precieuse - an anti-ageing cream

It will probably all get used with the possible exception of the second item, which isn't really me.
