I've given in, and again re-subbed to Lux using the 10% off code. I've always liked their boxes, although last month's was of little use to me.New forum. New sig. Yes I still need to lose 2 stone!0

SSB box arrived. Utter carp! I didn't even get sent the thing that no one else wanted but I wanted. Grr!
Very thorough spoiler below in white:
Frontcover Baked Powder Eyeshadow in Malva... £4
This is in the mauve colour my eye-bags go when I've not had enough sleep. Not an attractive colour and pretty much the only colour I can't wear on my eyes
Orico Superico Vitamin Rich Face Oil 10ml £9.30
OK... Looks like it's worth a few bob so I'll give it a go. Can't say I was stoked but at least it makes up for lower value items in the box.\
Dr Duve Anti Aging Eye Cream sachet 1ml? £3.83
Have you seen the price tag on this stuff? There is very little in the flat sample, probably about 1ml and for 30ml the price is £115! This brings the box value up a bit but it is such a piddly little sample that I wouldn't want to make a commitment after only using it once or twice. I also feel a bit insulted about the amount of anti-aging stuff I get sent when I'm 25 and look about 12...
Dr Duve Anti Aging Face Cream sachet 1ml? £3.90
Another piddly little sachet. I don't really do face cream, not impressed.
Jing Jasmine Tea x2 sachets £0.72 for the two
Seems they missed the beau out of this month's box. Didn't realise it was just a tea box. Not impressed. Jolie and Glossy have both sent tea recently - I don't get it?
Amie White Clay face mask 10ml £1.00
OK, this is one of the cheapest items in the box but it's actually the one I'm most pleased with. I never normally like face masks but I got sent one of these a while back in another SSB Box and, when off sick with dry, sore skin and a frown line deeper than the atlantic ocean I tried this out and am so pleased they've sent me another. I found it moisturising without creating an oil slick, it reduced redness on my face and was wonderfully cooling. The texture was thick and almost gritty so was easy to apply and when I washed it off it gave a little exfoliation. It also plumped up my skin really really well - I do look VERY young but I teach so spend most of my day squinting or frowning and this totally ironed out my frown line for a good couple of days. Really plumped my skin up and I just felt fantastic. I don't usually rave about products but this one is great and if anyone is disappointed to receive a £1 face mask I suggest you try it first :-) (Or post it to me. Haha!)

Ok... So I was going to blog basically what I put in the above spoiler but it just went on and on so I have done my first ever video review...
I think it's probably way too long but I'm just uploading it to YouTube now. If any of you would like to hear my thoughts on the box then the link is going to be:

Even if you don't want to listen to what I have to say, it might be worth a watch on mute just because I'm wearing an awesome reversible Donald Duck jumper and no makeup so you will at least get a good laugh ;-)
Feeling very vulnerable having just put an unedited video of myself on the internet!

I was ready to watch your video but it is unavailable! A bit diappointed now! Anyway, a word of advice. You are never too young for the anti aging stuff. The lines sort of creep up on you. If the products are too rich for your skin, use them like a mask instead of a face cream. i wish I had been a bit more skin savvy in my 20's

Unavailable! Gits! Hope they haven't taken it down. Try this link instead :-) hope it doesn't bore you too much. Going to do an ESPA one if I have time when I get home.

Yeah I've been using the AA stuff anyway but my mum will be 60 next year and still looks about 38. No one ever believes that her 3 youngest children are 25, 34 and 36 - they practically faint when she says her eldest is 42!xxx0 -
Has anyone else had this e-mail? I can't say that i'm overly bothered that they are stopping the monthly boxes, they had gone a bit rubbish and i've had a few issues relating to a delivery.0

In case anyone is interested, the advent calendars from lib are now half price.0

The SSB email is really annoying especially as Moth and I have been doing our reviews religiously to get points!!!!!
You won't get a free box I don't think. How many do you need? I have 1720 and they said that wasn't enough but they will offer me some sh***y poopy Joliebox kack offer.
Maybe they watched the review where I slated all but the £1 mask in my box ;-) yeah that one view it has will be them. Sorry guys its clearly my fault! Hahaha.xxx
Emslovesmickey - iloveyou. Now ordered my LIB calendar!xxx0
