I spent quite a while googling the products I received and came up with some websites both the companies and others - I like to know what I'm talking about when I'm blogging it.

I do think maybe 1 item should have been a bit clearer labelled on 1 certain ingredient - it's nothing to worry about in fact I use it morning and night at the moment from a different Korean company and really like it but it might have a few people looking like this -

The total RRP of the products in my box was around: £88 (minus the non beauty item)

I'm more than happy to share those websites - I don't know if I can just post them here otherwise I would have. :).

(Just thought I would say you by no means sound like you want a fight :) - hope I don't either as I don't just thought as I had some information it might help with you getting some use out of this box as well you have paid for it after all :).)

Ooh yes please! I'm not very good at the quotes thing-my initial responses were more at Thrifty but because I had quoted you I made some references to your post, which I found rather impartial and un-biased. I think we're allowed to post links in here but if you don't want to chance it please feel free to just pop it in a PM to me if you wouldn't mind :-) Xx
  • I got the same glossybox as you sn1987a except I got the
caviar top coat, which is amazing
great box considering I used my glossydots to get it.

My selfridges lucky bag arrived today. Which again like everyone else I'm kinda disappointed. All in all I think I probably got 1 of the better bags but is certainly is not high end products.

Joliebox arrived today. This was my last box in a 3 month sub i got
pathetic tiny sample of hand cream. Silly sachet sample of Jane Iredale glow time BB cream. Topicrem body glitter 3d effect body cream. Dead Sea spa magik, gentle cleansing facial wash. Galenco SOS repair balm this is the 3rd lip balm in 3 months now. And finally Loccitane angelica hydration cream. Which I'm made up about. But not on the list online on their site for this month. So I'm guessing they gave me this rather than the marvis tooth paste, so I'd re sub.

Still no BB for me. Emailed Jessie again this afternoon. Bet she's fed up of me hahahaha. This is the 3rd week now I've been told its coming. So hopefully I'll get a reply a.s.a.p and fingers crossed it will come next week. I apologise in advance if my spoiler shows as this is my first time doing it, fingers crossed ive done it right.

I'm seconding, thirding and fourthing the Kiehl's offer recommendation. I just ordered the lip balm (having eyed it up as a Christmas present for Mumwhostealseverythingfrommybeautyboxes every time I walk past the shop in King's X), another lip balm and the hand cream in 3 separate orders. The shipping was free, the coupon code worked on all three orders and in each one I got 4 deluxe samples (looking at the sizes they actually ARE deluxe size) and 3 other little 3ml sachets of my choice! I've never used Kiehl's before but they seem like my kind of brand at the mo! I also went for complimentary gift wrap as it said it was a brown Kiehl's box - I thought this would be cool to do some Decoupage on or something nice to put Christmas pressies in.
...Can you tell I'm a little excited about Christmas?
    Xx
  • I too have made a few orders from kiehls, will make nice gifts for my sisters, mum and mum in law!( If i decide not to keep them myself!! )Really have got to stop now, my wardrobes are going to collapse at this rate.:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
  • Finally a Glossybox I'm happy with!
    I got:
Dr. Jart beauty balm, Wei Beauty face treatment pad (RRP £55 for 6?! Looking forward to trying!), the mango body butter, Nails Inc Notting Hill Gate and the microfoliant

It's taken a while, but well done GB for this month's box!

I got my glossybox today!!! And I think is the best box I had so far with them. I noticed also that there are more details on the products now on the glossybox webpage than before. It seems they have done some extra work. Too bad that this is the last one from my 6 month subscription. I had some terrible boxes, I don't think it is worth renewing now. I'll just order one when I see one I like just to use my glossydots.

Be careful as you have to be subscribed to use glossydots - so if you let your account go inactive you will have to resign up and pay for a box then get the next months with the dots - so you're best bet might just be use them now.
    Happy Comping All!

I think I'm going to cancel all my boxes after the December ones. I've got enough Glossydots for a free one in December. I might subscribe to the odd one in the future. I'm not overly happy with the direction JB and Amarya are going now - JB used to give everyone the same, but that appears to have changed now, and Amarya seem to have followed the same direction as all the other boxes now, with the sample sizes, so I'm going to save my money and just keep my notanotherbill sub, which is much more fun.
  • ANy recommendation on the best beauty box to try ?

That is what I thought I had to do, as you say, pay for one box and then next month use the dots. When I called the customer service to ask how can I redeem them, they told me that I can't if I have a six month subscription... I need to pay for one box and then order the next one for free. Have you used yours with a 6 month subscription? I'll try 1st of December to see if I can use them, just in case... I would totally prefer not to pay another one to use them.
