Ordered the Allaboutbeauty beauty box but found it was total carp for me. 4 full sized products and a little extra thing but they all smelled like cheapo market stall stuff and I know they're going to bring me up in a spotty horrible rash so I think I'm going to put it all on eBay. A quick Google search revealed that the only places you can read about these brands is on their own manufacturer website or on beauty blogger websites where they have been the box. Won't be getting it again.
Will also be cancelling this month's SSB box - it used to be my favourite but this month's displeased me greatly!

I am not sure what you got in your box but my products don't smell or look like cheap market stuff, I got 2 full size retail packaged moisturisers and a cleanser and toner and an oil burner that I haven't looked at yet as my daughter nicked it straight away!
The whole concept of the allaboutbeauty box is to try new products and brands not yet in the UK, I personally am tired of getting the same repeats in the boxes, they seem to take it in turns, so I think it is good to get to try new products, not just more of the same. I have researched the products too and the dr lauranne company are well established and a top brand in Italy. I have been using the products every day with no reaction at all. The products I received have no added fragrance so little or no chance of reaction. This box gets my vote and although the actual box is not pretty I am happy pay £15 to explore new full size products and not the usual little samples. Lets hope they can maintain the standard.0 -
Got my beauty bible last week (green) MORE than worth the wait, delighted with mine!
I was pretty chuffed with Amarya too, though I really wish the facial moisturisers would stop for a bit from all the boxes!

Look, I'm not being funny here but you've only made 7 posts so far & they've all been about allaboutbeauty, bar 1 where you moaned about other boxes. I'm reporting you for spam!Noli nothis permittere te terere

I blogged about the box (yes I got it to try) and have to say I honestly did like mine, if I had paid for it I would have felt the same - I think the problem is not everyone is going to like the same thing.
I don't think there's any right or wrong if it's how you truly feel on something

Just in case anyone else has an insane computer - BB will email the questionnaires in their entirety if you can't access the files

I'm still waiting for my anti-ageing one. Jessie said it was only posted Friday. I'd only finished the questionnaires for my last lot in September.0

I didn't get the advent calendar because I decided it was too expensive - then I went and blew about £60 on 4 Betrousse boxes:o
But I haven't had a despatch email for them yet.0 -

You're totally right and I'm not going to start a fight on it as I thought the whole point of this forum was to express our opinions on these products. The large bottles received in mine (don't want to give specific spoilers) were the main thing I didn't like the smell of. The non-beauty related product was the best thing but I won't use it (and it seemed odd to provide it without something to use with it) and when I googled the so-called "top brand" the first result was an American gynaecologist. With regards to the other brand, the only thing I could find for them was a blogger saying how they could find nothing else online. This is here, although I must SPOILER ALERT it as it tells you the brand. http://www.thestylebox.com/2012/11/13/beauty-kipos-toner-cleansing-milk/?utm_source=rss&utm_medium=rss&utm_campaign=beauty-kipos-toner-cleansing-milk
This post is not directed at the person quoted (in fact it is in support of them), it's just a general thing backing up my previous comments.
I don't want to try out the same old carp but I just didn't connect with this box at all. I'm not a snob - I didn't get on with Amarya either - I just felt that for the higher price tag I would have preferred a more high end product than what was received. I would love to find some pricing information on this brand so that I could compare it to a more familiar brand.
