Is anyone else still waiting on a Beauty Bible package? I've not heard anything back from my emails either and getting a little peeved. I just want to play with new products!

Yep I'm still waiting on 'green'. I emailed on Friday and had no reply. I'm not impressed at all.

I'm in Group 55 for the anti-aging tests and just got mine today. It is TOTALLY worth the wait. I got almost £250 worth of good products...anyone disgruntled will be totally over the moon when they get theirs. I can see that running two sets of tests (Green and anti-aging) whilst writing the books must mean that they are run off their feet.

I'm really looking forward to digging into my package of goodies. I was wondering though - do they email you when they are doing further rounds of testing?

Has everyone had their October Lux Boxes? I subscribed in July (after an awful run with GB), only for the August box to be cancelled whilst they got their act together sorting out the Limited Edition box. I received my September box...then...nothing. After 4 emails, Lux Box told me that some of their boxes had gone missing (!! no explanation) for October and they would sort mine out as soon as possible.

However, today they just came back to me to say they didn't receive a payment for October and asked me why this was? I wrote back to them and said how would I know - perhaps it was a fault with their system and they should look into it if there are other people with missing boxes too? As it was getting verrry messy, I told them to cancel my 'subscription' (one box!) and make sure I was only charged for the September box.

Their response was this "I'm sorry you feel this way, we do try our utmost to keep our subscribers happy. Unfortunately I can't see the reasons for payments being declined as they go through a secure merchant. We are in the process of changing payment systems so the purchase option will differ slightly in the future if you do wish to try LuxBox again." Which is pretty lame really...they don't even try to keep their customers! I shouldn't have to try this hard to get the monthly boxes from them (one box in over 3 months...and 4 emails before I got a response from Customer Services). I told them that it is madness that neither I nor they are notified that the payment has failed (if it even has?) or the reason why.

It's really disappointing as I'd been really looking forward to LuxBox. Not sure if I'll sign up to another box yet as have all the Beauty Bible products to test.

Still waiting for the green one as well. I'm in group 62. And I haven't had a response to my email sent on Thursday either.

I got my Joliebox today though. I got the better of the two boxes so I felt quite lucky. I don't know what I would have thought otherwise. I was defenetely luckier than last month (where I got the cleanser and the balance me sample (worth 16£ together) instead of the freedom glow and scrub (worth 44£ together)).

    This month I got:
Jane Iredale Full Coverage Mineral BB Cream, 2ml
    Vav Manucure Absolue, 2ml

Topicrem Sparkling Body 3d Effect Body Milk Moisturiser, 15ml

Dead Sea Spa Cleansing Facial Wash, 25ml

    Loccitane Angelica Hydration Cream, 15ml

Galenco SOS Lip Balm, 4.8 g

I have not worked out the value but I'm happy with it.

I also ordered today an Elle UK magazine subscription, getting me 51£ worth of topshop makeup and a 6-month subscription for 10£.

This is not written on Elle's website but this is what it contains:
    Blush, Prime Time, 4g
    Lipstick, Secret Admirer, 3.5g

    Smokey Eye Palette

    Gel Liner, Ink, 4g

    Eye Brightener, 1.5ml

    Nail Varnish, Treasure, 8ml

    Liner Pen

As a new user I am not allowed to post links but I think you can find the offer easily on their website.

There will be a rolling subscription for 18.72£ every 6 months after that but I intend to cancel it well before.

  • My Glossybox arrived today with exactly the same contents as rondacon. It's not my fave, but I'm still happy with the contents, especially as the
mango body butter doesn't actually smell like mango to me, meaning that I will use it! ;)

Also I have decided to return my Lucky bag from Selfridges, I really can't justify the money for this and by the look of it many people have complained.

That is what I thought I had to do, as you say, pay for one box and then next month use the dots. When I called the customer service to ask how can I redeem them, they told me that I can't if I have a six month subscription... I need to pay for one box and then order the next one for free. Have you used yours with a 6 month subscription? I'll try 1st of December to see if I can use them, just in case... I would totally prefer not to pay another one to use them.

That seems crazy I would have thought you could have just tagged it onto the end of the subscription :/ mind you its GB not sure why that should surprise me - sadly I only tried after having cancelled a month sub and then had to resub to use the points.
    Happy Comping All!
