We are in the process of changing payment systems so the purchase option will differ slightly in the future if you do wish to try LuxBox again." Which is pretty lame really...they don't even try to keep their customers! I shouldn't have to try this hard to get the monthly boxes from them (one box in over 3 months...and 4 emails before I got a response from Customer Services). I told them that it is madness that neither I nor they are notified that the payment has failed (if it even has?) or the reason why.

    It's really disappointing as I'd been really looking forward to LuxBox. Not sure if I'll sign up to another box yet as have all the Beauty Bible products to test.

    I got mine - I wasn't that impressed with it - it was a good box if you used the main product - sadly I didn't so it was of no use to me :/.

    They put up an update on facebook tonight saying due to all the problems with missing October boxes there will be no November box, but there is a provisional 'shipping date' of 15th December for Decembers.

    Yes, I heard about that. And it sounds like you shouldn't be surprised if it ends up after Xmas/in the new year. Glad I unsubbed...if the Dec box didn't turn up, I would have ended up with only one box in six months!

    I wish they would just give a concrete date and reasons for boxes going missing, problems with payments etc.

    What's the fave box atm? I don't know which one to resub to. It's all seems such bad value after Beauty Bible testing and the Selfridges box. We're too spoilt. Lol!

    And can I resubmit my question about BB testing - do they contact previous testers when there is another round of testing available to register for?

    got my Kiehls box today,seems very odd to pay £8.50 for 75mls shampoo and be given 65mls of the same shampoo as a freebie!Not that keen on the box as a bit big and lots of writing about the firm on it but all in all worth the £8.50 as some useful small items for OH to take on planes

    I think from memory they just send an email around to say they're testing again and invite people to apply for the tester panel. I remember getting an email to test a "miracle" cream - it was just a one off product - but again I think it was a general invitation to people who were signed up to the BB newsletter.

    Occasionally they do smaller test panels for specific products, so for example I did a one-off face cream, and another occasion I did a sun cream and after sun.

    My Kiehls stuff hasn't arrived yet but I am very excited.

    On a more sour note this months jolie box was carp and I I subscribed on the spot.

    On a REALLY sour note, GLOSSYBOX charged me 4 times for my think pink box and sent me only one. On my account it shows up as two. Very very odd!mi have just sent them an email and will call them tomorrow. Might be worth checking your banks ladies if you bought the one off box.xxx

    For those still waiting for their BB testing products, it's worth the wait. This is the (very reasonable!) explanation I got (after the email that said it would be with us end Oct/early Nov and before I received my products).

    "We were hoping that lots of products would arrive with us last week but it looks like they will arrive through the course of this week and we want to ensure your package has a good mix of types of products etc.
    By way of apology and explanation...... each team has 10 testers and each of those testers has 10 products, thus each team has 100 products.

    In the last two weeks we have sent out 12 teams totalling 1,200 products. We do appreciate that we have kept you waiting and that it is hugely frustrating and i want to assure you that we are dealing with it as fast as we can. If we don't have the right products we cannot send the packages out.



    Your package will be with you soon.


    Kindest regards and once again apologies for the length of time you have been kept waiting"

    Have started testing my first product tonight :-)

    I didn't get an invitation to latest BB,I just applied again when i saw it mentioned on here.
    re bercousse(? spelling)box I emailed as ordered on the 5th(wowcher) and had not got it,they said they come from France and should be here end of this week or next.

    My Kiehls stuff arrived today, it was missing three samples in each box (hand cream, midnight something and something else... I was mainly interested in the hand cream!) so called the FREE customer services number and the lady said they've run out and she's posting me all of them when they come back in. Great customer services. Hopefully they follow through :-) xxx
