The Amitee box is worth it, as had a couple of make-up items in it, plus some well-thought out other items. Glossy-box is another good one as long as you put in your profile what you want (up to 3 choices). You may still get skincare items, but could put make-up, and nail-care as two of your choices?
Glossybox still aren't using the profiles though, which is very annoying. I suspect they simply haven't worked out how to.
It's all still random, (except for the bloggers, though they aren't being favoured as much as they used to be. It was getting too obvious that they always got the best variant of the box so some of them get inferior boxes now too.)
Having said that I really liked my glossybox this month, but am planning to cancel after I get my free one.0 -

I went to alter my profile slightly, and noticed that they said my preferences would not be used yet (in later editions?), but was happy with my first. I loved the colourway of the make-up item recieved, plus the brand itself (It justify's having the box for me, but have noticed some received a lip version instead, which I would have recieved less than favourably), and loved the peppermint/teatree oil (item no 4) variety I got.New forum. Just ordered my first beauty box. Thanks for all the advice on here. Decided to try glossy box. I used the code that kbells kindly posted (except that code didn't work - maybe a number 0 instead of an O which is why it did not work?) so checked on hotukdeals and found the code AFFWSPRING40FF which worked to give 40% discount. Thanks to kbells for pointing out the code in the first place.
Also went via topcashback which gives £7.07 cashback for a beauty box, £5.05 for 3 month gift subscription, £20.20 for 6 month gift subscription and £50.50 cashback for 12 months.
So it came to £8.95 including delivery and I hope to get £7.07 cash back so beauty box may only have cost me £1.88 :j
Sorry if someone has already mentioned this - I did read all previous posts but it is quite long so may have missed something. Hope this helps someone else out.0 -
Quidco are offering £3 cashback for any new subscription (one box would do), however I checked their terms and conditions and it said that using voucher codes not provided on their site might invalidate the cashback - you may want to check this for topcashback butterfly81.2020 Wins:

EDit - never mind, found it myself! It's £11.50 so a little more expensive than their anti-ageing box but still looks good.
Full info on a post on the grabbit board too.I wish I hadn't looked. I daren't get any more stuff. So tempting.
I've just filled out their submission form. There are at least 5 products in that box that I would love to try.New forum. New sig. Yes I still need to lose 2 stone!0 -

Thanks Saetana. Had a look for any terms before I went through topcashback yesterday to purchase glossy box (with the 40% off code) but it did not mention anything about codes invalidating the cashback so I thought it was worth a chance.I don't mind paying the £8.95 if it does not go through anyway. I don't see why it should not work tho and will argue my case if it does not go through. If you want to go through quidco you might as well use the code aswell as it is cheaper than just going through quidco and getting £3 off and there is a chance you could still get the cashback. If not I think topcashback is free to join so may be worth having a go like I did. Hope the glossy box has some nice products in it. Think the April box will be sent out. Looking forward to it arriving.

There is £4.54 topcashback for she said beauty subscription and £4.50 quidco. There is also the 25% off code SSB25OFF previous posters have already mentioned that works. But if you go through quidco you may not get the cashback as quidco states it may not track or be declined if you use a code that is not on their site. I can't see anything about using promotional codes with topcashback but maybe someone has had previous experience of trying? Was thinking about getting the first she said beauty box to see what it's like but not sure whether to try topcashback with the 25%off code or just go through topcashback to get the £4.54 back. Has anyone else tried? Thanks0

It is entirely possible others see me as some sort of mental cat lady. Which is also true, actually :rotfl:
Great to hear that Rose80 and purplebutterfly are still into glitter and shimmer! I am 31 and love a bit of sparkleSadly my partner does not like glitter as it usually ends up on him, the cat and most of the house
