. As it's a bank hol on Monday Amarya will be dispatching on Tuesday the 8th (they normally post on the 7th) so you should get it in good time for your hol.
Thanks you for keeping us all up to date with posting times hun
I genuinely intended to cancel Lux Box as soon as it arrived but then they sucked me in with Balance Me stuff! I am so weak
I was really annoyed about the Glossybox "natural" claims. I mean, everyone is free to use whatever they like and whatever works for them and I'm genuinely glad that people enjoyed their boxes......BUT I hate misleading advertising ("Simple" adverts make me want to smash the tv) and I felt Glossybox was out of order.Anyway - is anyone trialling Peptalash? Has anyone bought it? I'm trialling it for the Boots beauty panel and I am blown away by the results.
I am always very sceptical about products like this - especially with overblown claims that it can visibly lengthen AND thicken your lashes in only two weeks - but it really IS working. I'm on day 16 and I can honestly see a difference.
I've got naturally long eyelashes but they don't hold a curl and they are quite sparse so I need a super-duper mascara to give me good volume (YSL Faux Cils is my holy grail product). I wanted a volume boost and I'm definitely getting it. My eyelashes are visibly longer and seem thicker - I *think* that the Peptalash is stopping them falling out as soon as they normally would so that I have more eyelashes than normal, rather than making each individual eyelash thicker, but I may be wrong.
Still sceptical that the results will last, if i'm honest. I'll use up this trial pot and then probably watch as my eyes become completely bald but such are the risks of life.
Anyway, just wondered if anyone else was using it and what you thought?
(Yes, I am aware that it contains butylene glycol, caprylyl glycol etc but I was willing to sacrifice myself at the alter of chemical nasties for the sake fluttery eyelashes. Told you I was weak-willed :rotfl: )Living with Lupus is like juggling with butterflies0 -
Had a google of Peptalash PB as I hadn't heard of it. You lucky thing getting to trial it! I would love to give it a go but £25 is a bit steep. Just need for it to be on a mad offer or turn up in a beauty box!!0

hello ladies can I join you please as some of the ladies on the no buying toiletries think those of us who buy boxes might be better off on here:rotfl:(no offence to any of them who might be reading this as think we do get carried away with boxes)
just got my SSB and LIB today....wish they would come at different times of the month though, thye are like magazines all coming at once:(
don't like the soap in SSB as tons of soap in my stash anyway and found the KK perfume disgustingly sweet0 -
Hi Rosemary! I'm here too :rotfl:
I'm a bit on the fence about the SSB box this month. I'm really happy about the Snowberry samples (I will decant them into pots so they last longer as 3ml is a pretty generous sample). The Inika Lip Whip looks lovely but isn't in a shade I'd choose. I don't tan so don't want/need the tan accelerator (it sinks in beautifully though so wish it was just a normal sun cream). I don't want soap either, so a bit of a damp squib.
I was thrilled with my Latest In Beauty box though (I agree it's a shame they came on the same day! :rotfl:)0 -
Hello Rosemary/Willowbee
Sounds a shame about the SSB Box, as bought this for my sister, if she doesn't like the contents she'll give it to me so more for the stash. Last months box looked really good and came close to stubscribing for myself when I saw it glad I didn't now.0 -
Hi SuiDreams
If the Inika Lip Whip had been in a pinky shade I would have been happy with the SSB box, so it's just a bit of bad luck with the colour. Hopefully your sister will get a colour that she likes0 -
Hi ladies, I've also come over on a recommendation from the no buying toiletries thread
I only sub to SSB & Amarya and this is my second month.
I won't use the false lashes or tan accelerator (already tanned naturally), so will pass these along. I have to say overall I preferred last months box though.
No buying unnecessary toiletries/makeup in May: Unnecessary spend £17.60
May INs: 14 UUs/OUTs/GAs: 11
2012 INs: 77 UUs/OUTs/GAs: 91
Savings from UUs: £60.50

Welcome ladies - hope you find this thread a happy place to chat about Beauty Boxes and, occasionally, other beauty-related things! :T
If anyone wants to post a list (or photo if you like) of what was in the SSB and LIB boxes this month, then it would help out those folk who don't subscribe and haven't got the time or patience to Google (ie me mostly :rotfl: )
Enjoy!Living with Lupus is like juggling with butterflies0 -
I'm only keeping my Amarya Box at the moment and may buy the odd LIB one depending on the contents. I bought the 1st Lux box and liked it all except for the false eyelashes, but have cancelled this for now, as have too many products any way.0

I got SSB and LIB today too. The LIB box is my second one and I'm happy with it - the brands like Weleda, Elemis and L'Occitane are the kind I like.
The SSB was a bit of a let down. The lipgloss was in an orangey brown shade that I won't use, I don't use fake lashes and the rest was a bit blah. I'm going to give the soap to my mum, I think she'll like it.
I'm feeling slightly beauty box fatigued at the mo, maybe because I got three within the space of a week with Glossybox being late!0
