Out of all the boxes, Glossy has the worst customer service so I can't say that I'm surprised.

It's also a bad move because if they continue to ship at the end of the month boxes will begin to overlap instead of arriving steadily throughout the month. She Said aims for very early in the month, on or around the 1st while Joliebox ships very late, received around the 20th usually.

The more beauty boxes that keep launching obviously the larger the chance of overlap, but at the minute everyone seems very keen on making sure they get their few days of solid press coverage and continue to ship at regular intervals which is good for journalists.

Just been reading that LUXBOX are taking payments for the May box on Tuesday - bit annoying as we probably won't have recieved our first April box before then. However they have said we have until the 9th to cancel and get a refund.

I will almost definitely be cancelling so thanks for the heads up! I'm only getting the first, discounted box on the off chance that they try to impress with it.

If it's full of skincare it'll be no use to me so I'm hoping for some make up - but NOT those dreadful stick on nails. A bit of sparkly stuff would be nice (yes, I KNOW I'm too old for glitter and I don't care )

I'm the same purplebutterfly, am tempted to cancel now but will wait in case the box is amazing. I am intending to just stick to Amarya and Glossybox then just do all the introductory/special offers. I love my sparkles too and have not let entering my 30's stop me!

It is entirely possible others see me as some sort of mental cat lady. Which is also true, actually :rotfl:

Latest in Beauty are probably the cheapest - their special boxes range from around £5-9 plus postage (occasionally this is free with certain boxes). It is not, however, a subscription, you choose which boxes you want as you go - all contents are specified beforehand so you know exactly what you are getting for your money. Probably not as good value as some of the more expensive boxes but less chance of disappointment as well.
