:rotfl: Did you buy Red for the REN skincare? (I'm sorry that I can't remember - I've had a rough few days and my brain is shot to pieces). I've used the moisturiser twice and I think it's lovely. I'm tempted to get another one  (I don't think much of the eye gel though, so far...)
Don't apologise - I'm pretty sure that everyone in the world has better things to think about than what magazines I've bought for freebies! :rotfl:
I already use the REN Global Protection Day Cream and I love it because it smells like ultra-posh ice cream and is really light but really moisturising. I got mine from ebay - there's one currently listed that might go cheap HERE and there's also a super-cheap Hydra Calm serum on a Buy It Now HERE. I'd have bought that myself if I hadn't just spent the same amount on some Antipodes Apostle Brightening Serum.
I haven't tried the eye gel yet - I've got all my Balance Me eye cream samples to get through as well :eek:Living with Lupus is like juggling with butterflies0 -
I'm confused how many items should I have received in my JB. I received four. I didn't receive the shampoo Should I have? It was my first box so I'm trying to figure out if I should have received a 'bonus' item in addition to the nail file.
Any thoughts? I want to get my facts straight before I have a moan to Joliebox :rotfl:0 -

Thank you so much for the links - that was very thoughtful of you :A Sadly I'm on a No Buy month (). I had a 'free pass' for the just the REN freebie (this is over on the lovely No Buying Unnecessary Toiletries In July thread). I'm also receiving my beauty boxes
It was an impulsive decision to have July as a no buy month so I'm just doing my best. No 'ins' but beauty boxes is still helpful for me :rotfl:
My skin was on the verge of a massive hissy fit last night (thanks to being stressed, I think) but the REN cream (and arnica on the beginnings of spots) calmed it down overnight. I'm really impressed! I've bookmarked the serum on eBay on the off-chance they still have some left next month0 -

It was my first box and I got the shampoo - but I didn't realise it was a bonus item until someone said so on this thread. I'd definitely ask them if I were you, they can only say "no"Living with Lupus is like juggling with butterflies0 -

Oh that's a shame. There's so much on there I want - my problem is not enough in my cupboard to get all the novelties I fancy. What sort of things would you want to swap for? You could always ak if anyone has things you particularly want- I've seen people do taht and someone else often remembers something lurking at the back of their drawers.0 -

you were supposed to get it as a new subscriber bonus but I think they ended up going anywhere when re-labelled.
ask then for one, you might get fobbed off with its a re-labelling problem and they've all gone but you never know!0 -

I had one, and it was my first box. It wasn't mentioned as a bonus on my card, but can see that it was, from what others have received. Its actually nice, and suitable I feel for most hair types, despite what it says.
Its a shame some people are missing items such as the L'occitane moisturiser too. It makes the box worthwhile.New forum. New sig. Yes I still need to lose 2 stone!0 -
I got my Jolie Box too and I'm missing the bonus item. I didn't know I was supposed to have it but I'm wondering if I should email and ask...
It's actually a decent box and I was lucky that I got the customised item for my actual skin type and the instead of a (spoler in white) strange lipstick colour I got a nice enough lip balm stick
All in all I'm happy, espcially because I was lucky and thanks to a code I only paid £5 for this box. However I have unsubscribed already as I need to save my pennies.£9500/£10000 baby fund saved so far0 -
I didn't get the new sub item either, but according to comments on their FB page, emailing will only get you an apology, they say they've run out of 'bonus items'. For £5 it's a good value box though.0

Hi Everyone,
Sounds like a mixed bag re the beauty boxes ... I've only subscribed to Amarya and hoping it's a goodie.
Purplebutterfly - I use REN products too - they were recommended by someone in our local Wholefoods Market (they're really generous with their samples) and I really like them. If you buy from the REN website you get 2 samples and 10% off your first order and 10% off your favourite product for life.
Not sure if this is the best place to ask but has anyone here any experience of Pai Skincare?
