Did you suspend your account to cancel? Its what I did, or is there a better way? I'm not interested in having any more from them (apart from what I've now paid for).

I thought that was cheeky too. They didn't tell me by email, as other companies have.

I still enjoy mine, but have found this month frustrating. I'm happy sticking with Amarya, SSB, and Lux (despite delays, as is one I love).

The novelty has worn off of trying every available box. :D

Yes I did. I think that's the only option.

Mind you, I haven't tried every available box yet. Amarya sounds like a good one!;)

I haven't actually, but I did subscribe to 4 at one stage.:rotfl:

Thought it was time to cut-down. :p

Hmm now that you mention it... there are definitely more items on the JB site than what I received in my box.

They'll be getting an email from me soon. Late box + missing item(s) + crappy selection = me

If this was your first box, you should have got the bonus item, in my case Volumising Shampoo, plus the L'Occitane moisturiser.. Which looks good.

No wonder you were so disappointed!

This box looks good, would be happy to get. Not holding out any hopes though!

Yey I have one box! :T

Jolie box just arrived (SSB still AWOL). I have the exact same box and contents as in this link above.

Overall quite happy with it to be honest and I will probably use everything in it. The box is cute so will be keeping that as well :rotfl:

EDIT - I also 'won' a £5 off code. If anyone wants it give me a shout.

JB and Lux arrived today (continued in white)

For a supposedly special birthday box, Jolie Box is outstandingly bad.

Firstly, I have the amazing "designer box". It is an orange box. A box which is coloured orange. There is no way of making it sound better because it is essentially, a cardboard box dyed orange. I have no idea why this is supposed to please and/or impress me.

I have "won" a 10% discount off products bought from the Jolie box shop. Whoop-de-doo and call me Lucky.

Shampoo for limp and fine hair - eg hair that is as timid as a duckling and as tame as a week old puppy. My hair is more of a rabid, red-eyed wolf which needs a large dose of ketamine and a tazer to take down.

Yon Ka cream - take a nice product and add parabens.....WHY??

L'Occitane - probably won't use it as I can live without PEG 100 but it is otherwise a nice enough product to be given away

Institut Esthederm Bronz Repair Body Lotion - this will help me achieve a healthy glow, appararently. I already have a healthy glow, thank you very much. It is the same glow as shining a torch through a bottle of milk but I am happy with it and see no reason to change.

Elysambre lipstick in gothic purple. A colour I would have worn 15 years ago but sadly cannot pull off now. The only time I wear this colour is in the bedroom and I already have half a dozen similar ones, so I have no use for this. I would have much preferred the white glitter that others got.

    Lux Box

I'm happy with Lux this time. I love the idea of the Green People eyeshadow but I already have more of those kinds of colours than I can ever use. Not the fault of Lux but simply a result of my makeup addiction.

I'm looking forward to trying the exfoliating cream and the toothpaste - I got the Garden Mint flavour.

The First Aid Beauty moisturiser seems rather nice but it contains phenoxyethanol so I'm not sure that I'll use it.

Another Murad cleanser to add to the pile but overall, a good box and very much to my taste.

I think you definitely need to join the swapping page - I'd have most of your jolie box - including the box! And am sure I'm not the only one - shame to bin it.

I've been part of the group for ages but I've never seen anything that I would want to swap for.

Thanks for the heads up on Glamour magazine - bought 4 copies today for the 4 freebies - love the Balance Me stuff! :)

As for boxes, I'm currently subscribed to GB, SSB and Amarya and can't keep all three up long term but am so undecided which to keep. I've got SSB on the cheap Jubilee 6 month offer and so far have been pretty pleased. GB is hit and miss but I mainly enjoy it and I like the ethos and full sized nature of Amarya but if it's a product I don't use/like it's a big loss IYSWIM!

well have a red card from postie! hoping its JB but i am expecting an illamasqua order too although i only got their dispatch email today so heres hoping ill get JB and won't have to start emailing complaints for a refund.

have you seen their FB today? it really has gone downhill for them! i think its shocking they have sent some peoples paid for boxes to other subscribers so they have 2 and others have none. its one thing to have a labelling issue, another to stick labels over other labels leaving our personal info going here there and everywhere but then another to knowingly have some people getting two and others none and doing nothing about it.
