Oooh evilsquid - did you go mad in the Illamsqua sale? I was tempted by a couple of things but resisted as I have far too much make up. If they'd had the sale foundations in the palest shades I would have given in. What did you buy?

I think you are completely justified - well done on losing a stone!

Received my first JolieBox (birthday) box and suffice it to say that I will not be getting another JB. If I absolutely had to like one thing about it, that would be the JolieMag :rotfl:
    Yonka Pamplemousse
"90% ingredients of natural origin" but they had to put multiple parabens in the other 10%. There are plenty of paraben free products with 90%+ natural origin so I really don't understand. This is getting instabinned.

    Instituit Esthederm Tanning Spray
Maybe I signed up for beauty boxes at the wrong time of year... Seriously !!!!!! is with all these tanning products??!? I like my skin tone the way it is thank you very much.

    Jolie Nail File
Flimsy, feels super cheap - they should at least include something with retail value over 10p.

    Elysambre Eye & Lip Pencil
This is just baffling. How can you have an eye and lip pencil? I don't want my eyes to be red/pink and I certainly don't want black/brown lips. The pencil I received is brown, so I'll be adding it to my mountain of eyeliners in various different shades of brown then...

    Overall very disappointing.

Well I should have had this box with an additional
L'Occitane cream. However I actually only got the eye & lip pencil, the nail file and the L'Occtaine.
approx value, if I'd got it all is quite good
    £23 for Pamplemousse
    £10 for L'Occitane
    £7 for Elysambre pencil
    £10 for Institut Esthederm
and about 10p if that for the nail file

Have emailed JB as box was in a dreadful state :mad:when it arrived so I'm not surprised it didn't contain everything. I also got a discount card for free p&p but needless to say I will not be buying anything from their website. So if anyone wants it please PM me.

  • My last Luxbox is here (red card yesterday!)

Toothpaste in Brazilian Lime - no way I (or anyone I know) will use this, though I did squeeze a bit out to have a sniff. I need my sensodyne! Swaps anyone? Will take fake tan, I'm pasty and hate it!

The rest I'm sure is the same. The eyeshadow trio spins because the pan is magnetic! How cool is that! No? Just me then. :D But yeah, you can lift it up. Could always stick some blu tac in there and it'd stay put.

Yey I have one box! :T

Jolie box just arrived (SSB still AWOL). I have the exact same box and contents as in this link above.

Overall quite happy with it to be honest and I will probably use everything in it. The box is cute so will be keeping that as well :rotfl:

EDIT - I also 'won' a £5 off code. If anyone wants it give me a shout.

Lucky you, I really wanted that red lipstick! :T

Mine wasn't bad. I'm going to test the shampoo shortly, and pray I don't get big hair! :rotfl:, but to get a brown mascara (it is a definite milk chocolate colour) not brown/black which I would have worn, was a bit disappointing, as is not a colour most people would choose.

Definitely worth what I paid discounted, but was a little disappointing for the reason I said. Yours sounds lovely. :)

my red card was a JB! was also the box i wanted too!

    spoilers:

i got the pretty box with all the little cartoon make up in it that i wanted. i don't get how the orange one is "designer". anyone can paint a box one colour :rotfl:

i got the yon ka in normal to oily which was customised to my skin type (def sheer fluke!), the lenor greyl shampoo which will get used, the l'occitane cream and a mahogany eyeliner which will be useful for work at any rate. the nail file is a bit cheap thought, isn't it?!

also got the tanning spray but as i am ghostly pale this is a bit useless to me so thats been given away already :p

I've just tested the shampoo from Jolie Box, and it was fine, very conditioning, so didn't need to use a separate product.

So 3 products, plus a nail file ;) I can use.

I loved Leonor Greyl pre-shampoo treatment that I had in an early JB so those of you that received the bonus shampoo are really lucky

Purplebutterfly - as much as I love Balance Me I agree with what you say about the 'rich' moisturiser. It's actually quite good for my skin as I'm combo but I can see that it wouldn't be good for dry skin. I love the mattifying effect :rotfl: Did you buy Red for the REN skincare? (I'm sorry that I can't remember - I've had a rough few days and my brain is shot to pieces). I've used the moisturiser twice and I think it's lovely. I'm tempted to get another one  (I don't think much of the eye gel though, so far...)
