I merely quoted a fact, are you disputing it?
I see a lot more lazy layabouts that come from the 'better off' end of the scale, who have never wanted for anything, had mummy and daddy provide everything for them, wipe their *rse for them well into their teens, when compated to kids from those families that struggle to get by week to week or month to month who have seen their parents struggle to get by and provide a home for their kids as best they can.[SIZE=-1]To equate judgement and wisdom with occupation is at best . . . insulting.

CAB woman on BBC said that people claiming benefits would only get 15p in the pound.
I just had a look at those benefit calculations, never mind child benefit, some can still claim tax credits at £40k, ridiculous. I am not sure how there would be a restriction of 15p in the pound if the system is based on Gross salaries (less certain deductions e.g. pension contributions), anyone care to explain the practicalities of this?We take into account the gross amount of your income, that is, your income before tax and National Insurance contributions have been taken off.'Just think for a moment what a prospect that is. Actually, yes I am.

this must be true then.
although, i would hazard a guess that if we took all the offspring from any random council block and all the offspring from a nice leafy suburban street, the offspring from the suburban street would overall be doing better. just a hunch.
i work hard to give my children what i can. i would expect that they will grow up to work and work hard, because that is their expectation.
the children of scum see scum acting like scum, they are expected to be scum and therefore, they are scum. they also expect free handouts.0 -
Generalisations help noone. There are lazy people in all walks of life.
Either way the country needs more tax payers rather than benefit claimants whatever class they come from0 -

It may be sad, but the harsh truth is that on average, low (or no) earning parents tend to produce low (or no) earning children. Many who will never put anything into the coffers.
a lot of middle class women who wait til its too late to have children naturally produce 'defective' kids who will never hold down a job--middleclass and driven they will screw the system for all its worth!mfw'11 No68- 55k mortgage İO--little to nothing saved! i must do better.0 -
