It is yes, but there is nothing positive about prospects for the unemployed at the moment, what has been said is what's happening at the moment.

6.4? I just applied for a job yesterday, and there was an application pile with easy over an 100 applications, with a lot more to come what planet are these people on.

Does this stat include zero hour contracts & commission only roles etc?

I'm getting alot more applications per vacancy during the last 9 months or so.

As a rough guess around 40+, this is not a basic min wage role either & previous experience is a must.

It was 6.4 unemployed people for every job, as has been said before employed people will apply for jobs as well.
