Yeah i know what you mean, its hard to make things that aren't maybe your own taste lol - have you put them on ebay? It will be interesting to hear how much interest they get on there :D might not be the best place for them but its really hard to predict!

Did i get some more sleep? ummmm no lol. Been quite busy today though so it will probably hit me about 8 ish.

Have found the perfect fabric to finish off my patchwork bag :j:j am really excited! I do need to try and find some pins though before i can get it done or go visit mum who has a lovely organised sewing box :D and my sewing machine :rotfl:

I have popped them on ebay and your right, no interest at all!!!:rotfl::rotfl: Craft Fayre will be better - don't buy pins, I'll send you some, I inherited millions off my stepmom when she passed away, PM your address and I'll pop some in the post today!!
Hope you got some more sleep!:D
I finished doll#3 last night, she's nicer than 2 so I am getting better!
Pop a piccy of your bag on when its done and your elephant x

Everyone has been busy busy busy! Time for my update. Got some more website work done and finished a gift bag. I also hemmed some trousers and nurse mummy made "Biggie Blue's" poorly leg better! Today an order of 16, yes 16, fat quarters from Cath Kidston. I was so excited about seeing that package I nearly fell over!
Will be getting to work on that lot tomorrow along with a family photo collage and frame for my sister.
I started a blog today too-get me! I feel like I've had a productive day for once!
Best go to sleep now! x

Aw thanks vintage :) I did already buy some pins :o tbh i could have got some off mum but i just wanted the wee holder they came in really :rotfl::rotfl: what am i like??? :o its ok they were cheap as chips honest :p If you are wanting rid of some though i could donate some to the craft group i go to?? they never have any lol

I finally went to bed at 2am this morning :eek: but i did sleep until about 7ish so thats a bit better. Am thinking its the meds increase - might try taking them earlier in the day instead of before bed though i might end up keeling over :rotfl:

Ohhhh Doll #3 is gorgeous :D you are firing them out rightly now alright :D i keep working on 3 or 4 projects at once so nothing else finished yet but will add some pics when i do :o started ripping out an old jumper yesterday as well to recycle the wool - love doing that rather than throwing out :D have thoughts of felting going through my head......

About the website - there are loads of free easy to do templates around on line - it just takes a bit of playing with. If you want to go the whole hog and buy a domain name for your site i find 1 & 1 quite hard to beat, or a completely free one i had recommended by a business guy is moonfruit - i am finding it a bit hard to get it to do what i want to though. One of the ways you can find something you like is to search through craft sites - if you see something you like look right at the bottom and if it is free it will have the name of the site down there somewhere ;).

I'm not exactly a web designer :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: but if you need any help just ask and i will do what i can :D xxxx

Oh and have you thought about putting your dolls on folksy or etsy? i find the crafting community are much more responsive to crafted items than ebayers! Same idea - pay a little for listing and you would have your own shop - a lot of people do that instead of their own website!

As the crafting is my job I invested into a website and picked ekmpowershop.com to build it with. I've found it really easy to use and the phone support is brilliant. They even rang me to see if I needed any help after I had joined and they're always on hand so suitable for even the least technical people. Not the cheapest at £23.99 a month plus £7.18 to buy my web address (link on my profile) and then £24.99 a year for email so Kirsty@company.com and hosting but I would recommend them and I soon learnt that if you're wanting a professional site then cost is irrelevant.

Fairy-no bandage required lol! I have set to work on the fabric and as I have a business to run I need lots of fabrics on hand. I have 6 very large boxes filled with the stuff! I find it all over and have no hesitation in buying and demolishing a pair of curtains if it's fabric I like! I'll. put my blog address on my profile so I don't get into trouble for advertising!

Yesterday I made loads more things including the long awaited fridge magnets, a sunglasses case (a picture of which is below) and I started on some wall tiles. I also booked an appointment with Clarke and Clarke to sort out getting a trade account (very excited about this!). Off to Peterborough today so will lose a days work but will catch up.
