Hello everyone!! I have been a bit missing in action for a while so only just got to catch up with your posts. I was quite disturbed to read about the rolling pin saga
and am glad i wasn't about or i'd have been tempted to strike back at people on behalf of crafters everywhere! I do hate for peoples work to be attacked
Constructive feedback is useful but ripping someone to shreds is completely uncalled for
Anyway, i have been working away on various craft related projects, not least of which is my website for selling crafts. I got fed up with the fees from ebay and elsewhere so i made my own multi listing auction/shop option site! hahahaha nothing like going overboard or anything. I will add a link to my profile for anyone who would like to have a look
I have also, strangely got more involved in the web design side of things as a result and am now working on a few other craft sites too - funny how these things happen.
Crafting wise i have been working away on shamballa orders and have completed some custom designs - some pics for you below
and just for a wee change i did a bookmark yesterday:
Right then off to clear out the craft room - not good when i can't get in there (again!!)
happy crafting everyonexxxx

Just popping by to share some things. First up, Pinterest. I am so addicted to this site! I was using it to share my products for a while, but after reading an article about it earlier in the week, I decided to browse around it properly. I have set up boards that include things I want to make, eat, wear, buy and the make one is getting rather full already!. On my everlasting quest to get through all the fabric scraps I have (I am convinced they are breeding), I have found tons of fab ideas. I definitely recommend it. I've also got into upcycling clothing now as well!
Next up, a few things I have been making. We have coasters that I put a how to guide for on my blog:
Then there is my new range of light switches:
My living room storage solution (aka something that looks better than the pile of paperwork that was there before):
My braided headband that I love:
The basket liners that I am sooooo proud off because a) I have never made basket liners in my life and b) I made them entirely by hand because my sewing machine broke last weekend.
Bracelet using scraps (guide on my blog) which is now my favourite bracelet:
Best leave it at that for now! There are some lovely makes to be seen. Just to forewarn those that make and sell things using other company's designs including fabric, characters, logos, even the company name, please do not think that big companies will not come after you. After a very scary solicitors letter making it's way to me a few weeks ago because I left a single word out of my listings, trust me, they will come after you. I was absolutely petrified, but it turned out the solicitor was very helpful and I got off very lightly. You have been warned.
Happy crafting x0 -
So many lovely makes, well done everyone :money:
I've been very busy these last couple of weeks, worked a commission for Cross Stitch Crazy, designed this little amigurumi:

Then I got knitting with some Alan Dart designs, his designs are so brilliant, easy to understand, amazingly well designed and he gives permission for you to sell to completed items :T
