I hang my head in shame!

I just could not get motivated yesterday (think it had something to do with hubby going away to work again!!!! - hes now not back until Weds and then only back for 6 days before going off to Australia for 3 weeks!!!)

    Made yesterday 17h April:-

7x Notelet Sets (4 in a set but each set counts as 1)

    Total made today - 7 !!!!

my to do list now looks like this

825 Items in 14 days challenge

    Made 247/825 - Still to make 578 - Days Left 10

Today I will make up for such a bad day yesterday (well that is the thought process but you never know!!!!)

    Happy Crafting xxxx

No shame Crafting - you are on fairys thread :D it was just a low day for you by the sounds of it and you still managed to get 7 (but really 28) things done - so well done for that!!!

You are still well on target and i am sure you will get your mojo back, big hugs for you too :D xxxxxx

I feel a bit all over the place at the minute - trying to clear out room to make crafting space, trying to do some promo of page on fb, trying to pay off debts and doing what i can to get some extra money in - seems like there hasn't been time for much crafting :( I did go visit mum last night to use my sewing machine - sewed up the elephant cushion without thinking and forgot to add the embellishments i needed to sew on first - doh!!! need to rip that out now........am wondering about changing the plan instead hahahaha!!!!

Have decided to try and knit some eyes for purple elephant to keep him nice and soft rather than adding buttons or hard eyes...but no idea how that will go. Must take a pic of him so far - think i have the legs on now where they will stay!

Also started cutting out some patchwork squares for a new project!!!! Have decided i have MPS - multi project syndrome :rotfl::rotfl:

Good luck with your crafting today guys - hope it all goes well :D xxxx

    Morning everyone,

Well I had a slightly better day yesterday. I managed to make and package on 18th April:-

6x Notelet Sets (4 in a set but each set counts as 1)

    10 x Wish Stars

    3 x Decorative Clips

    Total made today - 19

my to do list now looks like this

825 Items in 14 days challenge

    Made 266/825 - Still to make 559 - Days Left 9

I did also manage to make 12 stretchy hair bands yesterday as well but could not find the correct size bags to packaging them up, so today I have to look for those (my craft room is getting so messy I may have to have a quick tidy today before I do anything!!!).

I do have a busy day today so not sure just how much crafting I will be able to do - I am determined to beat yesterday's total though so watch this space.

    Happy crafting everyone xxx

Well done Craftingmad, you're doing amazingly well! :T

    I'm intrigued, what's a wish star?

I'm not doing so well, I used the wrong glue on a styrofoam wreath yesterday and melted through it!

    Morning,

Thanks for all your kind words. Quick post from me today as I'm about to loose electricity due to works being carried out in my village for the day!!!

I managed to make and package on 19th April:-

2x Notelet Sets (4 in a set but each set counts as 1)

    3 x Notepads

    12 x Hair Clips

    9 x Felt Mirrors

    Total made 19th March - 26

my to do list now looks like this

825 Items in 14 days challenge

    Made 292/825 - Still to make 533 - Days Left 8

A wish star is a little acrylic star tied with ribbon and placed in an organza bag along with a little poem in a scroll which is also tied with ribbon (very fiddly but they do look nice and seem to sell well - I found some reduced hairbobbles in matalan with the stars on them and thats what gave me the idea - see told you I see craft in everything!!!!) I'll post a pic on my blog once I've got the big one out of the way xx

    Happy crafting xxxx

    Morning all,

Fairy good luck with your craft fair - that sounds like the sort of thing I would do xxx Actually you will have done it by the time you read this so hope it went well - your stuff sounds lovely so I'm sure you will have sold loads xxxx

Simply - love the pics and tiles xxx

Well time for my update for yesterday. As you know I was without electricity for most of the day so I was limited as to what I could make (as I could'nt use my computer, laminator, sewing machine, printer etc).

I managed to make and package on 20th April:-

    10 x Cards

    1 x Felt Owl

    1 x Felt Mirror

    Total made 19th March - 12

my to do list now looks like this

825 Items in 14 days challenge

    Made 304/825 - Still to make 521 - Days Left 7!!!!!

Now I know that it looks like I did'nt get a lot done yesterday but I did actually get lots of prep done for decorative pics and more felt owls so today should be a good day.

On the otherhand I got a nice surprise yesterday as well though as my hubby, who was supposed to be away until late Weds has come home for the weekend so we have decided to have a nice family day with the kids today so who knows how much crafting I will actually get done today xxxx

    Happy crafting everyone xxxx

  • Good luck with the fair today Fairy. I hope you found/made lots of lovely things to sell.

Keep going Crafting. Shame about yesterday with the lack of electricity but it sounds like you still did well.

I have woken in agony today and as I have my four year old son on Saturdays while my other half is at work because his dad has now refused to have him to spite me (long story!), it is going to be a long long day! I'm hoping to get my patchwork cushion finished today. I completed the patchwork yesterday, so all that's left is to sew it all together with lining and add on either a button or some poppers, not quite decided yet!

Don't think there will be vast quantities of crafting today unless my son wants a crafting session together, which he does sometimes.
