What rubbish clues! If everyone is going for the same spot they may as well just draw names out of a hat, the first day was much better :) Ah well, should be grateful they're doing this in the first place!

Edit: Again my map is borked. I put mine on Alcatraz and it said "A long, long way off... try North"

Hi exactly what i said YESTERDAYS ANSWER - Waikiki Beach, Oahu, Hawaii. ---
We ALL knew that within 2 minutes!! - They need to put more effort into actual placement or just 'an area' eg oahu is the area - then we just guess where 'we' think dell would hide it, and get rid of the orange box..(waikiki beach could be anywhere as far north as 'shorebird restaurant and as far south as 'senor frogs')

I'll prolly do mine if i can be bothered, such a shame would be a better game if they thought about it more, or even give clues that are alot more cryptic - so far an 5 year old kid would prolly know the the answer to the clues...

Good luck, im gonna spend about 5 minutes on it and thats it, far too inconsistant to waste more time than that..:(

    * oh yeah and yes its more like a 'spot the ball' - everyone knows the area and its whoever puts their 'x' (flag) closest to where dell put it..
Gawd i wasted far too much time on this comp ealry on.!!

Yup, would have been nice to have to do a bit of research for these clues, however at least we are all in with a chance!
Just hoping a surfer has a Dell tucked under his arm as I plonked my guesses for that clue in the sea lol

-I cant see if its a 'waterproof' laptop lol...
I think like most originally we thought it was a game a skill and cunning, but i think its pretty much random, like pin tail on donkey.
I dont think i put mine on the beach:(

As for todays ive not bothered but i suppose i should do cos its the FIRST closest guess that wins, and if everyone knows its alcatraz and its a uk and usa wide comp then there will be thousands of guesses. (i havent even looked at the map today yet)
**Not working for me in FF10 or IE 9 Or Chrome??? 18.30pm

wakiki shell (museum) clue says try more north east, hope that helps :)
Wins so far - Box of chocolates for mothers day :)

Joke - My girlfriend told me "a small penis shouldn't effect our relationship", I still think it'd be better if she didn't have one :rotfl:

Does it say that in the T&Cs, first guess? I'd have thought if more than one person had the exact coordinates they'd pick at random.

It sometimes stops working or disappears from the page from what I've seen, so just come back in a while.

Well i spoke to a dell rep who said if there was 1 or more in the exact place it would be the first one that won that particular round - (he thinks)

I havent tried it since earlier so gonna see if it works for me..

AAAARHH! How do I enter the Alcatraz one? Every time I click the link, on the Dell Home f/b site, it redirects me back to itself!
I notice in the T's&C's in an earlier post, it says we have to register for each one - but ....HOW????

As long as you 'like' them then just click the link where todays clue is,
Pechows initial post takes you to it.

Me and my family have followed 'claira' post, and we have concentrated our guesses on the steps very close together - but 1 then says north west next one says south east????????????aaarghh!
And that was putting our flags on top of each other???
    So no space inbetween????

Its going to be interesting when they release the full results and exact spots..

Good luck to those left to play hope youve got plenty of ideas,
see you on saturday for round 5!!!

Well it's west of the top left corner of the bookshop roof and south east of the steps behind the apartments....somewhere. lol If you can trust their directions. We should use a couple of guesses, post screenshots to show the area we know it isn't and directions that it gives from those....then go again using that info, should be a decent way to narrow it down as a group effort and not waste guesses?
