I dropped mine bang on the tree symbol of Kuhio Beach Park (Waikiki beach, south of Honolulu) and got 'you're almost touching, try looking West' since you can't go much further west before you hit the sea I think it's got to be pretty close.

I wish the blinking pin would travel with you I keep having to zoom out to find it again!

Thanks for the hints everyone. I hope this thread is nicer than the last one, I'm behind at the moment and didn't find the comp before it was closed.

If I'm getting different messages to everyone (I'd screenshot but dunno where to upload without making an account), then my guesses and hints are useless, and sharing them here is only going to hinder others. I can't message Dell to ask what's going on either. It doesn't make sense why my (and my Mum, since we had similar responses the last time we tried) account/map gives different messages to everyone else. I'd be better off just randomly dumping markers on Honolulu at the moment!

Right just discovered the help on MSE for this. Heres my two markers.

I put one in the greenery just beside sea and in line to the tree symbol Kuhio Beach Park and was asked to try west.

Dropped the next one up in a small square, just past green shaded area on Kuhio Beach park (beige area , theres a small square). It said Almost, Try South East.

Finally, after getting the hang of the zooming and then finding my cross again, I tried the University of Hawaii at Manoa and also the School of Law (thought you might find a Laptop there!)and they both said that I was almost touching and to look south west. Do you only get the two chances or can you enter again another day without inviting friends?

When you use your first 2 just invite a friednand you get 2 more, then watch the vid for a 5th and final one (but that wont tell you if you close, it says 'are you the closest)

Im stuck at wakiki beach and cant get an exact photo of what i want to see, so gonna try to chat to someone in hawaii later tonight, on a gaming site im on..

To be honest Im not going to guess again until they reveal yesterdays, because by my reckoning (which of course may be right or wrong) i was within 1 foot of it, thats what i believe..
So until i see their answer for that - because that will give me and the rest of us just how accurate their placement is in relation to the flags we position (ie..south west - west - east)
so comeon dell put us out of our misery (not bothered if i dont win its such fun to play, and to learn about places we prolly wouldnt have 'explored' before)
I must have walked a virtual 10 miles through honolulu on google earth - noticed one thing, loads of restaurants, yummy!!!!!!

Thanks Vanpopple didn't know about all those extra entries.

For all those who complained about the ads blocking the orange box: If you try selecting the writing on the orange box and hold while scrolling right the whole screen should move and you should be able to finally see the zooming tool plus the full writing!

I tried Waikiki beach said go south east then tried right by the sea on Kuhio Beach said almost touching go south est so I tried on the Steak House said almost touching try south eat so my last guess was on The Shore Bird Restaurant

Youre guesses have definately confirmed that i should wait, i looked at your final 2 markers, and with the directions they said, i have a marker further south????????????????

(also crin are you fully zooming in because thats a large area youve place them in)
when i make my guesses i do it within feet..

We need to know yesterdays because with youre answers and other guesses on here it seems as though it isnt as exact at we think (im thinking maybe the orange box is actually only a rough guide)

I.e yesterdays i think was on the pathenon (if you look at overhead view, bottom of picture, -sort of 5.30 on a clock, i had 2 guesses there 1 said west so i moved it less than a real life foot and it said east then my family had a go and we put it inbetween, so by that it should be EXACT) but really need to know, because maybe its the clues that give the answer rather than the orange direction box??????????
