oh sorry 448 ram i mean is the other thing worth having 60+ ram to use

Yep that should work fine. You will need the antenna though, but you should be able to get that on eBay.

Incidentally, my card is also an Intel... and it said in the instructions that it was only intended for use with Intel Centrino processors, but it works just fine with my AMD Sempron Mobile 2600+.

Glad to hear that amit. ...... £289.99 is a steal for a pretty nifty laptop, but it's a helluva lot of money if all you end up with is an outsize paperweight.

That's the baby many of us have gone for, mpet. You'll need to buy some antennae for it, as there aren't any in this laptop. You can pick them up off ebay (link to a couple of sellers earlier on in the thread).

Amit, the other "thing" is your onboard graphics card. You can't get rid of it, as it's built in.

Thanks, I notice that quite a few people mention buying the antenna from E-bay. I've got nothing against e-bay, but can they be bought eleswhere, or is it that e-bay is the best price?
