Tut tut, no thanks from me for that remark I'm afraid.

If someone had never really had experience of a highly volatile liquid like petrol, then they may well be oblivious to the dangers of the vapours.

You do not know this woman, her level of education, mental capacity or experience of volatile fluids and therefore are in no position to comment imo.

    Sorry. :(

Sorry FK, I didn't mean to offend anyone with my posts, it was a personal opinion. I didn't put it on here to gain 'thanks', I was just expressing an opinion. Can I ask which comment upset you please? It's obvious you're not the only one I've unsettled :o:o (genuine request! I'll remove anything that upsets anyone. It is never my intention to cause friction ever).

Regards your comment on this lady's experience with flammable, volatile fluids, she has a car and a driving licence, if she didn't know petrol was flammable and volatile, perhaps public transport would be more suitable. This is just my opinion, and I believe everyone is entitled to have one. I don't insist that everyone agrees with me all the time! (Although I do recommend they try it from time to time!! :p )

Ok let's liven things up with a vote

As first poster on here about the Lindt bears how long should I leave it before posting on 1p thread?? ( this is sure to provoke a reaction)

Am off to watch an hour of NCIS but will try and check back before bed!

    Why? I wouldn't bother.

Sorry, I should have said a proper GOOD EVENING ALL! since I've not been on since yesterday lunchtime - d'oh!

Hope everyone's well? Is HC back now?

I went to see my friend yesterday and the *insert several swear words* ward sister was a right cow, now I know they have a job to do but there was no need for her actions, basically it culminated it my scared friend being threatened with being moved to the trolley bay (no peace, no privacy) at the end of the little 4 bed ward as they needed the space apparently!

This awful female didn't like Sue standing up for herself after being told she was expected to go home even after her consultant said she could stay if she wanted to (she was very anxious and worried as they still hadn't worked out exactly what was wrong and all the symptoms were still there).

I heard this morning that she'd been moved to this trolley bay last night and left hospital this afternoon. During which time all unoccupied three beds stayed empty, bloody woman was just trying to be difficult and force Sue to go home, is it just me or is that grounds for a complaint?:mad::mad::mad::mad:

Should think HC's wallet was trying to escape his pocket, screaming, look, look!

    lol

Yep, they seem to have depleted in quantity very quickly, not even a solitary single bear at my store.

Come to think of it, the Birds Brandy sauce packets were gone too.. could be they're also 1p.

Mrs Beetons xmas gift pack of tea bag/spoon rest, one/two tea bags and a spoon, were down to £1.50....... if you can find packs that don't contain broken ceramics

The famous striped glasses are RTC down to 41p if anyone needs more.

Loads of Mrs Beetons xmas gift packs in my Tesco....none broken as far as I could see.....waiting for further reduction methinks !

I found some pink heart shaped chocs in a little net. These were left over from Mothers day and the boxes had been moved to the top shelf. They scanned at 50p last week, but I reckon they will be down to 1p at some stage. Thought they would be nice to put on the tables for any of the wedding girls so might be worth us all keeping an eye out for.
My husband says he will leave me if I don't stop shopping......... God I will miss that man.
