Since starting job i havent had time to be in tesco every day. I get there twice a week now but thats even more joy. I love just browsing aisles looking for ood sel, feeling so confident knowing that i know what to do.

Had a great dtd today, got 5 packs/well there wasnt anymore on a shelf/ pork loin steaks for free, very happy and i found it myself:). Ood sel was 20/03 half price.

Freezer full though, with 1p bbq stuff,so giving some away to my friends.

Sorry no just a car fanatic in general he can name any car ever made by a small section of the grill. His Dad used to test him. However I have just had a 1/2 hour lecture on the roof line, windows etc and how the avant could still be mistaken for an A6 now:rotfl:
    He said very nice car.
Just realised I've got to go to T's for my pop up bin lid and take the popped off one back
    :rotfl:

Mine is the C3, (He'll know what I mean) this was earlier than the 100 (C4) that looks like the newer A6!:D

No-one would ever ask for those kind of injuries, nor the attendant publicity. She has my sympathy.

She was being stupid. Plain and simple, I said she didn't deserve those injuries, horrific, I know. But don't play with matches if you don't want to get burnt, similarly, don't play with petrol near naked flames (little known fact, it's highly flammable), don't run around the motorway if you don't want to get run over, don't put fingers in plug sockets if you don't want to be electricuted....

  • Had a cracking dtd on Wednesday this week. First Cape shiraz rose, ood sel at £3.74, scanned at £7.99, bought six.

I paid £47.94, dtd was £51 so I was paid £3.06 to take the wine away.

It gets better.. I got 5% discount for 6 bottles = £2.40, so now I was paid £5.46 to take the wine away and drink it.

It gets even better still.. Off I go to the Tesco price checker to see if there is a possible JTD to be had. Two days later I get a nice email to confirm T - £7.99, A - £4.50, jtd voucher for £20.

End result - I spend 10 minutes having fun in Tesco and they pay me 25.46 to drink 6 bottles of their £7.99 wine.

How can anyone possibly consider shopping anywhere else??

Thought I'd copy this from the main grabbit thread as I think most of us have probably missed it and it's a brilliant post for those of us who like the Superdrug bargains......especially you tricia :D

    Many thaks OP Peachy85 :T:T

    Hi everyone,
thought i would give you a top tip! (i work for Superdrug and know the inside bargains!!)
Every Wednesday we have price increases and decreases, (this is for EVERY Superdrug store) so we know whats going cheap the day before!-not all the items you find in your local store are available in every single store-it's whether they are ranged for the stock. (we are classed as a small local store so don't have as much range as our larger stores)
I know that tomorrow, in our store we have some palmolive shower gels 500ml going to 10p and 49p, imperial leather 4 pack soap 49p, belle colour hairdyes £2 each, superdrugs bubble bath (1litre) 10p and 49p (only old packaging-stress less and indulge)
Hope this helps but remember to always check out Superdrug stores on a Wednesday, also these bargain prices aren't guaranteed every week-it's just stock that is discontinued that we have to sell through.
Don't forget there's 5% off all 1st class stamps too, until 10th April!! -you can use them after the price increase too!! :O)
    Kind Regards

Yay this makes me happy :D
i got massive stash from there at the moment (very tiny compared to you lot)

i get paid every wednesday so this is very good for me :D
    thanks purdita :)
You can't make someone love you. All you can do is
stalk them & hope they panic & give in

God created men first, cause you always makes a rough draft before a masterpiece!

I'm off to my local Ts now to see if they can manage to put through a ts direct order for me, for some reason I can't get it to recognise either the store or my home address for delivery :(
i had a similar problem, try closing down page, then go back in 10 mins. this worked for me. hth
