Thought I'd copy this from the main grabbit thread as I think most of us have probably missed it and it's a brilliant post for those of us who like the Superdrug bargains......especially you tricia
Many thaks OP Peachy85 :T:T
Hi everyone,
thought i would give you a top tip! (i work for Superdrug and know the inside bargains!!)
Every Wednesday we have price increases and decreases, (this is for EVERY Superdrug store) so we know whats going cheap the day before!-not all the items you find in your local store are available in every single store-it's whether they are ranged for the stock. (we are classed as a small local store so don't have as much range as our larger stores)
I know that tomorrow, in our store we have some palmolive shower gels 500ml going to 10p and 49p, imperial leather 4 pack soap 49p, belle colour hairdyes £2 each, superdrugs bubble bath (1litre) 10p and 49p (only old packaging-stress less and indulge)
Hope this helps but remember to always check out Superdrug stores on a Wednesday, also these bargain prices aren't guaranteed every week-it's just stock that is discontinued that we have to sell through.
Don't forget there's 5% off all 1st class stamps too, until 10th April!! -you can use them after the price increase too!! :O)
Kind Regards
My husband says he will leave me if I don't stop shopping......... God I will miss that man.0 -
Well done to your Dad!!:T

Oh purdita that did make me laugh out loud,
i would love to sell all his stuff.
He was meant to come and pick alot up today but never showed up or rung to say he would not be coming.
But i would feel so bad in myself if i did sell it, would rather keep my head held high and do the right thing although i can think nasty thoughts in my head lol.
Got the car packed up already and think i have some good stuff to sell so hope to do quite well if its a good day and lots of buyers.
Will be an early night for me after britons got talent that is im up at 5,
will let you all know how i get on
When my Ex and i split up i found out he was seeing a young girl that use to hang around one of the burger wagons where all the boy racers use to hang out (my EX being one of them and this when he was in his 30's). I rang a friend of mine and asked him if i could use his truck to drop some stuff off to him - he dropped it at my place and he showed me how to operate it, he helped me load it up with my Ex's clothes, stereo, record collection and computer plus some bits and bobs, he then stayed at mine as the kids were in bed whilst i drove into town to the carpark and whilst he was stood there in front of all his friends and little girlies i put the tipper action into operation and quite happily tipped all his stuff over the carpark - he didn't know what to grab first and the satisfaction i had from doing it was absolutely out of this world - definitely one to me :j:j:j
A week or so after this i went and emptied the garage we use to rent of the council as i had no need for it - my car was quite happy to sleep on the road outside my house unlike my Ex who needed a garage for his "pretty" car - and i didn't want to carry on paying for it. There were a lot of tools etc in their i tried to ring my ex to come and get them but he wouldn't speak to me so decided to take them all and do a car boot sale. I was really pleased with myself as made loads of money just over £150 if i remember rightly - i was selling his tools for a quid or two each and people were near enough fighting over them. Got home and rang my mum up to say how well i had done, she told her husband who asked what i had sold - i said Ex's tools - he then said i should have made at least five or six times as much as the tools were all "snap-on" and were really expensive :eek:eek::eek: i didn't have a clue what i was selling and when my Ex eventually spoke to me and i told him what i had done he went absolutely ballistic - i didn't see him off and gave him the money i had made - but if i had known the value of them i couldn't have done a better one if i tried, the irony of this is that when he was buying them i asked him how much they were as we didn't have a lot of money and he always told me they were only 3 or 4 quid each - thats what you get for telling lies:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:Very proud to be Strip club member No 430 -
