Correct, it is an Audi 100 but not any old 100, it's the Avant, these old Audi's are built to last and has no rust for an almost 30 year old motor and it is absolutely cavenous inside!!:D
I cheated my Dad got it without even seeing the car I'm on the phone describing it. He even said it could well be the avant which is the equivalent of a sportswagon. I hate it when he's right:rotfl:

Oh dear what a traumatic afternoonwith Lala.It was time to change her dressing for the first time. Was a bit nervous about doing this so carefully took off all the bandages andstarted to take off the dressing and realised it was somehow connected to a great long stitch. Lala let out a great shout and this really frightened me as when I looked down I realised why.THe scar was wide open and bleeding and I was trying so hard not to panic:eek: Lala.Straight up to accident an emergency who could not believe that I hd been told to dress it.The internal stitches are fine but she has had to have it all redone on the outside:(what an angel of a nurse she really put my mind at rest an said do not attempt to do it again and go and see the nursing practitioner for it to be done.Bless her she was so traumatised that when we got her home she fell asleep for a couple of hours.
3Dogs Lala has told me about you both and you seem to be coping so well.It amazes me where we get our courage from at times like this.I was in the same situation with my DH and the Macmillan nurses were my saviour they not only gave so much care an comfort to my DH but also to me and the family.Make sure you take care of yourself and just take each day as it comes.x

Off to dish up Mr Lalas bbq, looking forward to this but will have to eat it indoors as so cold today. Lala is not very impressed at me having to cut up her dinner every day:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    :)

Well I've had an interesting afternoon :o

The back person was actually a Carnio Sacral Therapist

:D But credit were credit is due - she has released all the kinks & knots in me.
It got quite 'weird' when my arm just rotated by itself :o & then my head went off to one side & started nodding & my feet rotated & then curled inwards but its all to do with releasing :)
The ripple that flowed through my body was amazing - like floating in the sea.
Would definitely recommend it, feel very drained but so much better :)

That poor lady with 40% burns.

Read some very harsh comment about it being her fault.

If gov didn't a start panic chances are she would never have been transferring petrol in the first place.
Sorry Frequent, I'm afraid I have to strongly disagree. Whether or not some government plonker mentioned storing petrol, who in their right mind would transfer petrol from one container to another IN A KITCHEN, while a GAS COOKER WAS ON?? She must be a complete numpty to think that it was fine and safe to do so.

To me what makes it worse is the fact that the press completely sensationalised the whole story by having it on every news bulletin and on all the newspaper front pages. At the end of the day, the woman did something incredibly stupid and unfortunately paid the price. No, she didn't deserve what happened to her, but to blame the government is a wee bit daft imho.
