Stressed out tonight, everything went off well as could be at my mum's funeral yesterday and then today my one brother texts my other brother and asks when he is getting his share of mum's money.

So after holding it altogether yesterday despite a few digs from him I have gone off the deep end tonight and told him to take a hike for a good long while.

Is it me or is asking that a bit insensitive the day after the funeral?

My father-in-law asked my mum had my DH left much money cause he felt that they should be entitled as next of kin
Fair play to my mum she told him that he wasn't and even if he was he wouldn't deserve any of it because of the treatment him and his wife gave him for years as a child and even when he was an adult, she got quite worked up about it but I only found out a lot later or we probably would have been attending 2 funerals not one

For Frequent, this thread would not be complete without him. He has made me :) loads with his individual sense of humour. ;)

    Yes that's true :)
    Fling off the armour
    Detach your pan
    Kick away the wooden spoons
    and enjoy the hugs :grouphug:

(did i do that in Frequent stylee? - or was I not cryptic enough:D)

Thanks 3dogs for the update- as others have said, we do feel like we are somehow going through some of your journey with you, and whilst I appreciate that this IS the internet- please dont let that detract from the genuine thoughts and prayers we are all sending you and Alan.

Hope that comes across as I intended?! You ARE an inspiration to us all but please dont let that stop you from asking for help from wherever you can.

hugs as always ....and as always I dont have the words to express how I feel

3 Dogs and Alan, it is so sad you have heard such bad news today. Take each day as it comes and enjoy this time of year and prove those docs wrong x

Do you mind me asking why you were refunded delivery? I have made a few separate orders for wine over the last couple of weeks and the only free delivery I have seen is for orders over £150 . I would love to get the delivery charges back if I can. TIA x
