Good Afternoon all!
No chance of me catching up, so just hope I havent missed much lol!! Thanks to the OP who told us about the anti-histamines through Clear Chemist - mine came through today and should last me all summer! Also got my Cravendale Kermit backpack....well, I would describe it more as a purse than a backpack! Dont get me wrong, it is cute, and Im a HUGE Muppet fan, but I dont think its worth the money I probably paid on getting a more expensive milk.
We had the funeral for my best friends husband yesterday, was very sad but went well. I did the food with her in the morning and think we did it just right - only a little left over so everyone had enough. Her 11yr old daughter read out a poem in the church she wrote for her dad which was so brave of her.
Hope you all have a lovely afternoon! xxx0 -

Good afternoon everyone,
Thinking of Floflo and her family today, my thoughts and prayers are with you. x
Thanks for everyones kinds words regards my mum, sorry for bringing the thread down yesterday evening. I was just having one of those days.
Feeling a lot lighter today, a nice haircut always does the trick, gone a lot shorter than I normally do think the sunshine gone to my head.
Very quiet on here, is everyone out in queues getting petrol. I had to go and join one as actually needed to as have to pick up DD1 from uni for Easter, I hope the other mum is sorted to pick up DD2 and her friend, I did the taking back after xmas so it is her turn but you can't do that trip from here and back on one tank of petrol. Mad mad people out there, guy walked straight in front of me as I was about to get my turn at pump with a small petrol can and just started to fill it and he let it overrun. Gobsmacked.
Shame I can't fill the car with my m & s wine, all arrived this morning 24 bottles for just less than £48. :T Hope a few more of you managed to get some, notice they were some different ones available again yesterday. Was anyone lucky to get an order in?0 -

A friend of mine makes broccoli cheese instead of cauliflower cheese. OH makes a lovely dish with brocolli, pine nuts and brown rice. Shall I find the recipe out?0 -
MMW and FQ's posts remind me of a cartoon.......
Frequent running around with a pot on his head, hiding in various places, being chased by mymerrywidow brandishing various impliments - wooden spoon, mega sized wooden spoon, drills, explosive devices, steamrollers.... :rotfl:
And in Benny Hill style, Mrs Frequent and anyone else he has ducked behind the sofa to hide from chasing too :rotfl:0 -
JJ, you could boil chunks of spuds, broccoli, onions and any other veg you have in some water and a veg stock cube, put it in an oven proof dish with a bit of the stock, top with cheese and bake till golden brown.
I've been making some delicious soups recently with brocolli in too. Love finding delicious things to do with the stuff - because it's a superfood I do like giving it to the family. :AHope is not a strategy.0 -

I have a picture in my mind of frequent permanently walking around with a saucepan on his head with the handle sticking out. Think it's reminding me of an Enid Blyton character in the story of the Magic Faraway Tree "the saucepan man". :rotfl:0
