Mum has been referred to local hospice doctor with regards her pain relief, palliative care nurse did not think patches were the best option. :( Also mum has finally agreed to go and try a local centre where she can have lunch, chat to someone other than me, try a craft, maybe have her nails done or even a massage. I think it will do her the world of good. Not sure if I'm really cut out for this caring role. :o

It's not easy caring for someone full time - you bear the brunt of it all and end up getting cross even if you don't mean to be as there is no respite. It will be good for you both if she is able to socialise a bit x

Yum yum. Just taste tested my leek n potato soup
Mmmmm. Leeks were 10p and the cost of 2 potatoes are minimal.
My bread maker is beeping that the contents are ready.
    Yum yum.

Leftover turkey casserole for tea. cost less than a quid to make yesterday as I used a 50p turkey drumstick whoopsied n a few bags of whoopsied veg at 5p and 8p prices.

I feel chuffed that I have spent less than 10 quid so far since Saturday!!!!

Gonna keep up the grocery challenge as it keeps me focused. £130 for the month of April is the set budget.

    :)
