Now i am going to be asking a very technical question now :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

How do you switch the printer to black and white? when i go to print i change it to black and white then but it still comes out in colour.

I am sure someone will explain better than me but you change it via the computer not the printer. When you press print on a computer a page normally come sup asking you how many copies to print etc. somewhere on this there is normally a tab or selection for print properties. Click on this and it will take you to where you choose black and white and also high quality or low quality.

If this is for coupons go for high quality black and white

    Hope this makes sense!

In the bit that comes up when you press the print button, there should be an "advanced" tab - almost certainly in that section (it is in mine anyway).

You can also put it in draft mode to save more ink - but that might be pushing it with vouchers!

Purdita try not to worry, retained placenta is a common reason for home births going into hospital (more so than poorly newborns). At least your DD had the home birth she wanted which can often be a struggle in itself. Obviously they need to make sure all the placenta is out, and that she's got enough blood. I'm sure you'll get an update soon.

    And congratulations :T

Just heard they are giving her a transfusion right now as she's lost 2 1/2 litres of blood:eek:
hopefully she can then return home tomorrow.
thanks for all the kind wishes everyone :A
My husband says he will leave me if I don't stop shopping......... God I will miss that man.

Anyone "nightskying" it tonight? Where's my mate, Magicowen? :(

I will as per usual, but wont be the same without Magicowen....

For the past few months ive been looking at Betelgeuse in Orion, its easy to spot, look for Orions belt (3 stars in a line) in the south west (will be in the west later). Its the oragne star to the top left. Like looking at it cos its 450ish light years away so when you look at it thats how it looked 450 years ago...!!!! its 1000 times bigger than our sun and is due to go bang anytime.. or it may have already gone bang 100 years ago but the light hasnt reached earth yet...

If it was where our Sun is, we would be swallowed up near its core and its outer edge would be where Jupiter is.. so its blooming big...:rotfl:

Just checked for the Space Station fly pasts, it is over the UK at the mo but early in the mornings, tomorrow 04:46 SSE and again at 06:09 W.. but i wont getting up at that time...:o
