And I was more than happy to give MMW my address when she so kindly offered to send me some supplies for Alan, after she had helped me so much with advice about Alan's stoma on the thread and by pm, so I could tell that she was genuine ..... and very generous :A :A
Each to their own, as you say, but I am a very open person, as I hope you can tell from my posts, and I would happily send people something they needed if I had it. Almost 2 years ago, someone who used to post on this site broke her hipa nd went into hospital away from home, and me and Mr 3Dogs, and another MSE'er, travelled from different parts of the country to visit her. None of us had met before but I can honestly say that the other MSEer is now our very dearest friend and we visit each other regularly, along with 2 guys we also met online through this same situation. We are in fact going on holiday with the 3 of them this July :j :j
I am not saying that it is always the case and it is right to be wary, but it certainly turned out fantastic for us

3dogs that is fantastic what you did for another mse'er:T:T:TGot to be honest I've sent stuff and received stuff and wouldnt have met Qpranger without mse. You do have to be careful but its not like its a dating site or anything:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:Happy would get the right hump if he didnt get his parcels;)Beware!!!! does anybody know Anywhere to get the wrights cake mixes?life is like a loo roll. the nearer the end you get, the faster it goes.0 -
I found the cake mixes in Asda, they had carrot, ginger, madeira, chocolate and toffee flavours.
They're in paper bags, like the flour. Think you just add water and oil.0 -
Afternoon all
Used my JTD of £3 from the wispa eggs. Had the SA who asked for my clubcard the other day again. I showed it to him today, even though I really didn't think it was necessary:mad::mad: He spent a good minute reading the receipt. What a titprobably working out how on earth I got £3 back
starting to hate him now. Might complain as it doesn't say anywhere about needing you're clubcard checked one bit!
but as pay back I reused 3 bags
Oh and I saw a lovely long receipt but the trolley guy grabbed it first!:mad:0 -

Any ideas?"Buy me, Lady", said the frock, "and I will make you into a BEAUTIFUL & WHOLE & COMPLETE human being"."Do not be silly", said the Man, "for a frock alone cannot do that"."True", said the Lady, "I will have the shoes and the bag as well".:rotfl:0 -
