I came back from T - no OOD SEL magnums (grr) and the £5 food deal with the spanish chorizo/pork (thanks rooted nomad) was on, but they had ran out of pork so all offers were null and void. Gutted as I really fancied it. Had a whinge at two managers but they looked like they couldn't care less.

I did find 8 jars of Kilners pickled onions from a while back - the ones in the nice fancy jars that were scanning at £1.24 (I'm doing a homemade piccalilli or Xmas chutney this year as presents). Only picked one up as no scanners in store £4.99:eek: So i told SA to take it off. Had been carefully totting up my shop along the way and the total came in as £39.55. Ran to pick up a Yorkie bar (they ARE for girls) to take it over the £40 for my £5 voucher off. How many 'tutts' do you think i got from the other customers?!!! ha ha, not bothered. So shop went down to £24.11 after coupons/jtds etc. Note to self: must try harder.:rotfl:
