  • I wouldn't normally come on here and post about this kind of stuff, but I honestly have no where else to go at the moment...

My dad had been getting these really bad pains in his side so went to the doctor who sent him for a scan last week, he then got a phone call on Friday to say the wanted to see him back, so he's just been back this morning and there's a mass on his pancreas and they're now trying to rush him for a CT scan. We're from a small town, which means Glasgow is the nearest place that does them which is a couple of hours away. They're hoping to get him in by the end of the week. I know we'll not know anything for sure until he gets this scan, but I'm so scared for him. It was my Mum who called to tell me,because he was upset. My Dad isn't the greatest talker iykwim and I can't quite bring myself to call him, because he didn't want my Mum coming home from work, so can't imagine he'll really want to talk to me, don't mean that in a bad way though. Such a horrible feeling.

Sorry to go on, just had to get that out :o

Are you a member of the Sainsburys Little ones baby and toddler club?

If so from now until 7th of June 2012 when you spend over £50 (not including the ususal stuff like gift cards and stamps, e top ups, petrol, baby milk and use your nectar card at the till you get a free carry pack of Little ones nappies.

This will be a till spit MOC and they usually have 2 weeks usage on them. Very very occassionaly you find these abandoned in trolleys. I would imagine it would be a MOC that the till operator has to put the price in.

Sainsburys still have their brand match with Asda and Tesco and you can get a brand match MOC till spit up to £10.

I have got a second nectar card which is not registered so I am going to register this and then join the baby club with this card using my Dads address and email so i can see if this is for exisiting members or wether someone joining now will also get the till spits.

morning all....has anyone tried to use the bread voucher today please?

I used four today in a Ts extra. They did't scan (i think my print quality was too low) but SA put them through for me without blinking

It was funny, when i got there i couldnt see any on the shelves and i thought I'd left it too late. Then somebody came out to restock on just the wrights mixes. For some reason that seems to be the only line they had to replenish ;-)
