I'm looking forward to graduation in the Minster in two years time, with the bishop and everything. A hat may be called for! :D

My eldest had her graduation in the minster and it was fantastic so much so she went on to do another degree and do it all again 2 years later! Are you York uni or YSJ?

The graducation gown and hat are not too expensive to hire but the official photos are expensive plus we got a holiday flat for the night before graduation, cheaper than hotel rooms and had a huge family dinner. So start saving now!

Mine was YSJ and she has stayed in York, living, working and loving :D

All sounds fab:T:T:TI'm hoping I need a new dress for the Garden Party, hat might be too much but sure I could slide a little fascinator on;)
Off to do jobs, I keep getting sidetracked:p:p:p

Hi Folks , it was great to hear some of the tales and see a few of the past names mentioned when the old times were re-lived a day or so back .

Does anyome remember or take adavantage of a M & S television ' glitch ' about 18 months or so back .
I believe it might have been a 3D TV .

    Just wondering ,not important .

    Mornin All,

Apologies to anyone who was upset by my post last night but I feel I needed to share that link so that people are aware, these things do happen, they shouldn't be hidden away, and awareness should be made so the same things do not happen again. I posted a link so people could choose whether they wanted to read it or not.
Anyway, I don't want to keep the debate going but feel I need to post why I posted that and clearly defend myself.
Thank you all for your support, but I think I am better off going back to lurking for now.
Take care all and have a good day :-)

Please don't go back to lurking:o:o:oWe're all real people behind our computers and we're all different and all have different experiences and views, best you stay posting Mrs:p:p:p:p

Please can everyone look out for a glitch on liquid laundry wash or liquitabs pretty please. It has been dawning on me over the last week that although I have a life times supply of fabric condition (and can also supply my eldest and probally the other two for life as well if they ever get their own places) But I think I am about to run out of laundry liquid

Last week I found some liquidtabs Persil and comfort and I think I bought these with a MOC in Sainsburys for extra nectar points so they must be at least a year old. They ran out this morning so I have been routing around in the stores and all I found was a box of Tesco non bio powder. No idea old old this is but it must date from MOC and bonus points days so it could be 2 or 3 years old. That must be the last time I bought and used powder.

The box is huge, all visitors have gone home or are going so it will last me 2 or 3 weeks but what then .......

    So I desperatley need a glitch :D
Me too !! On my last box of bold liquitabs and begrudge paying full price, if you find any please let me know, was hoping for a voucher in the new price flop mag ;)

while we're on the subject sorry totally off topic, i haven't got a greenhouse and have got loads of seeds from the wilko sale last yr

not sure what on earth to do with them,
do i put them in trays and keep them in the garage
do i out them in trays and keep them outside
do i plant them straight into beds outside
do i put them in trays and keep them in the house??

    answers on a postcard:A

didn't you read my tip on SSMC ;) Yoghurt pots with holes in the bottom, put a saucer or something underneath, compost, seed, cover with compost, water, cover tightly top with clingfilm, let it steam up,(no need to water) if stops steaming up water from the bottom, leave on windowsill covered till too big for pot or frost is over. Works well with tomatoes

right you lot.... Im being a Guinea pig in the hairdresser this afternoon... a young apprentice is being assessed and Ive been asked to be the Guinea pig for the afternoon... It's not an easy job for me, as Im a hairdresser myself, so I tend to sit there wanting to advise the apprentice... So its difficult to just say nothing... I think a good book and hopefully a few cups of coffee should do the trick!!!!!!!! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I dont even know what Im having done, Ive just been asked to go along and let her do my hair.... I might end up with short back and sides!!!!!!!!:eek::eek::eek::eek:
