I would never have considered myself one of the "nutters" that treated this game as a version of "chicken" but we also played the same game with a dart instead of a knife. When playing the game with a knife I recall that the knife had to spin in the air before incising whatever it met with to take the sting out of it (an early form of H&S:rotfl:) With dart however there were no such rules and I vividly remember putting the dart through the hand of one opponent:eek: Don't know how his hand got down there but it has clearly left a lasting impression... I can still see it now:eek:
However, he calmly removed the dart from his hand and we carried on playing as if nothing had happened. Thinking about it now he could clearly have contracted Gangrene!... makes me shudder to think of the risks we took as kids but were a normal part of life(and death:() then.

HMMM remember darts embedded in legs.:eek:
Split the kipper or split the difference:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
I say "THANKS" to posts that make me smile - Oh and really good glitches.:j

Bensonsmum so sorry to hear about your car :( After my last bill (£1100) towards the end of last year I thought atleast I might get a few years trouble free! Well now the bloomin airbag light keeps coming on and apparently there's a new regulation coming in where your car will fail the MOT automatically if this happens. And it's a v v complex job to put right involving removing all the seats :mad:I don't even wanna think about it right now! I've had the car from new (55 plate Peugeot 206) and it's only worth about £2500 now :(

A two minute google revealed this........

I googled it as someone had similar issues with a 307. This sorted their problem too.

"It'll be a faulty connector under the seat that controls the airbag. Common on Pugs for them to wear, usually cut the connector off & properly join them."

  • Hi everyone

I'm sneaking out of lurkdom for a bit - I used to catch up with some of you on the main forum but just haven't been able to keep up with you all anymore! - You post far too much! lol

I was looking at that Tiller's FB page and if you look at his wall, he's been contacting This Morning, Radio 5 Live, Watchdog etc with a message "i have a good story for you to look into" - I wonder what this could be ;)

I'll try to not dissappear for as long as I have before and try to keep up! x
