Im so excited im no longer an ebay virgin. So not MSE of me. So i have sold a toy, it brand new in its box, but it needs packaging cause it could get damaged. Where do you guys get your stuff from?
The buyer has already made payment, I have 2 days to get it out to her. Im in PANIC mode. Anyone have any suggestions?
Get a box from local supermarket or electrical shop - bubble wrap from £1 shop. Put padding in side boxed toy if need be - add a 'Thanks' note ;) & send it Recorded Delivery :)

Indeed Leadhead was the master couponer

Thats a name from the past, Indeed he was the master, remember his 100+ Mile daily trips to god knows how many Ts

Anyone also remember the clothes coupons too, stackable MOCS, £55 worth if you had them all, against a £60 shop..:rotfl:these were running at the same time as H&B.. And again Ts were then running ads in the papers claiming to be "selling" more clothes than ASDA, i wonder why...

Also remember walking out of Ts with 4 whole boxes of Quit Kits to share and... cough... swap...lol Happy and very busy days back then :p

Happy Birthday Queen of Cheap hope your having a good un

    Happy birthday QueenofCheap

It's taken me days to catch up that long that I missed the battery glitch, gutted because I bought 2 packs that day if only I had bought 4.
Surprised at how many people came out of the woodwork at the weekend and seem to have slid back in now.
Thanks to everyone posting about eczema and the creams available including sun cream, dd has just been prescribed doublebase cream and seems to be working also the nurse said porridge oats put in some old tights and swirled round the bath is good for the skin so am going to try this.
:oI love to help people by sharing my bargains:o
  • I'm still catching up and only as far as this morning but wanted to ask some advice please from HappyChappy or anyone who knows about ipods.

My DD has an ipod classic - very retro apparently. :)

When it is fully charged and she plugs it into a speaker system it suddenly seems to lose all its power. This happened for a few days but she could still use it with a small speaker thing (we have one which looks like a lego brick) and it was also OK with small headphones but now that doesn't work either so it can't be used at all.

She took it into the Apple shop but they said it was such an old model that they couldn't really help so gave her a phone number to call.

Before we do that I thought I would ask you lovely, knowledgeable, helpful people here if you had any ideas.

    Many thanks.

PS We bought it refurbished from ebay but it has been fine for about a year.
It sounds like the battery has had it. What's it like using it with ear/headphones?

It dies/loses all the charge as soon as anything is plugged into it. :(
If you're not scared, you're not paying attention
