Oh so it was you then was it, did it have to take you 3 flippin hours :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Someone near us did actually mow for 3 hours this afternoon, so much for a quiet glass of wine in the sun :mad::mad:
Oh lordy did they? How big is their flamin' garden? Mine took me 15 minutes! Front lawn was done yesterday and takes twice this as it's bigger and I waste time tripping over tiny hidden tree stumps!:eek:Omg! They are lucky they aren't on holiday with me, Orlando is fantastic, I am a Disney fan and a planaholic. They would be up and out to those parks with my foot firmly up their behinds.:D
Well said! And can I come on holiday with you?Fudge_Cake wrote: »I know it's such a magical place isn't it? Very cliche of me I know but it really is, especially with young children :A
My aunty and uncle have paid for it all, must be in excess of £8000, as it was over £4000 for the park tickets alone for 7 adults and 2 children.
I'm so glad I wasn't even invited now as I would be too angry to enjoy it witnessing such ridiculous behaviour! The kids are only ungrateful because their parents are; the other day my Aunty, Uncle, Sister and my cousin and his OH went to a park for the day and my other cousin, her OH and their 2 kids couldn't be bothered to go so they went to Walmart instead :eek::eek:Yet nothing is said!!! When they went to swim with the dolphins it boiled over when my Uncle had a go at the youngest because she wouldn't get in with the dolphins (last time they went she was too young and cried her heart out because she wanted to do it so that was one of the reasons they've gone back) He shouted at her saying what a waste of money it's all been and then my cousin (lilun's mum) got angry and defensive so my Uncle went and bought lilun a $50 toy dolphin to appologise!:eek::mad: Seriously this mentality is completely foreign to me, they've always been like it with money, remortgaged the house about 10 times, a wallet full of credit cards! They moan constantly that their kids are awful with money, yet they are themselves and have always bailed their kids out no questions asked. Unfortunately they only have themselves to blame!
It really bothers that people that spend like there's no tomorrow like this when they clearly cannot afford it, are the ones looked after by the government in later lifeMeanwhile my Grandfather is going into a home imminently and because they are mortgage free and have sizeable savings through hard work and scrimping on some of life's luxuries they will be paying upwards of £500 per week for him to live in a safe environment. Money that is rightfully my Mum's and something she could very much do with considering she's too ill to work and would love a financial ticket out of our 'home':(
Sorry this really wasn't mean to be a rant!!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
What a bunch of losers! Do you and your mum live with other family then? You've probably said and I'm embarrassing myself by not rememberingNo Buying Unnecessary Toiletries 2023

Do yo have any advise?
Thanks
Did you get it sorted?
Not sure what to suggest. If its not connecting to the Internet over 3G and WiFi then you could try forcing the phone to restart. To do this hold down the home and power button at the same time (ignore the 'slide to power off') until you see the apple start up logo.0 -

Arh hun, that's very kind of you to say so
Alan has said that he is proud of the way I am dealing with things and that it makes it easier for him to deal with, but I am so proud of how he has accepted the cancer is terminal and is just getting on with things. I've said before, it really helps that we can talk about it all, the stoma bag, whether to have the chemo, whether the cancer is feeding on the abcess, etc including what I will do when I am left on my own - yes, we've talked a bit about that too. The only thing we haven't talked about is how it will be for him, and for me, near the end, but that is only because we are dealing with the 'now' at the moment and sorting out treatment, finances, etc - but the time will come, and we will face it .... together
You two are such an inspiration xxxxxxxxxxxNo Buying Unnecessary Toiletries 2023
