:eek:Omg! They are lucky they aren't on holiday with me, Orlando is fantastic, I am a Disney fan and a planaholic. They would be up and out to those parks with my foot firmly up their behinds.:D

I know it's such a magical place isn't it? Very cliche of me I know but it really is, especially with young children :A

My aunty and uncle have paid for it all, must be in excess of £8000, as it was over £4000 for the park tickets alone for 7 adults and 2 children.

I'm so glad I wasn't even invited now as I would be too angry to enjoy it witnessing such ridiculous behaviour! The kids are only ungrateful because their parents are; the other day my Aunty, Uncle, Sister and my cousin and his OH went to a park for the day and my other cousin, her OH and their 2 kids couldn't be bothered to go so they went to Walmart instead :eek::eek:Yet nothing is said!!! When they went to swim with the dolphins it boiled over when my Uncle had a go at the youngest because she wouldn't get in with the dolphins (last time they went she was too young and cried her heart out because she wanted to do it so that was one of the reasons they've gone back) He shouted at her saying what a waste of money it's all been and then my cousin (lilun's mum) got angry and defensive so my Uncle went and bought lilun a $50 toy dolphin to appologise!:eek::mad: Seriously this mentality is completely foreign to me, they've always been like it with money, remortgaged the house about 10 times, a wallet full of credit cards! They moan constantly that their kids are awful with money, yet they are themselves and have always bailed their kids out no questions asked. Unfortunately they only have themselves to blame!

It really bothers that people that spend like there's no tomorrow like this when they clearly cannot afford it, are the ones looked after by the government in later life :( Meanwhile my Grandfather is going into a home imminently and because they are mortgage free and have sizeable savings through hard work and scrimping on some of life's luxuries they will be paying upwards of £500 per week for him to live in a safe environment. Money that is rightfully my Mum's and something she could very much do with considering she's too ill to work and would love a financial ticket out of our 'home':(

Sorry this really wasn't mean to be a rant!! :p:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

It's not a seperate issue entirely..

DTD appears to be part refund. If I am overcharged £50 for an £100 item (SEL £50), DTD here is £100.

£50 of this is my refund. The other £50 is Tesco apologising for their error.

Therefore if I was to take an item back, by rights I am entitled to £50 refund, not £100, as I was already refunded £50 when I bought the item.

Saying that.. Not all CS follow the same thought process. Rarely they will give a full refund despite DTD already being given previously, some will refuse to refund anything at all.

Though, how they can refund you £50 for an item they will put back on the shelf for £100 is beyond me..

    You are actually both correct.

The right to a 28 day change of mind is indeed a separate policy but as you correctly state you are only entitled to a refund of what you should have paid, not what you did pay.

The maths also adds up. They give you 50 refund first store, 50 refund in store you return it to and resell for 100. :)

    Hi everyone :D

Before I start reading back, I've got a dtd to share.

Tesco wooden rolling pins (new product) SEL 6p, scans at £5.97

Might be a good one for you lot seeing as you're all into your cooking - mine is more likely to get used for play-doh! :D

Jeez Louise, I just skim read the last 15 pages - I chose the right time to go AWOL for 3 days!! Very funny about the knives though :rotfl:Love it.
This doofus Mark Tiller on FB will get fed up and leave us alone soon (if not already) so leave him to crack on, what a sad so and so. And as someone else said, T are sop slow are getting themselves sorted that it really won't affect us and glitches anyway. Hope it's the end of it.

One more thing to say to Flo flo - very sorry about your loss and I do hope that the funeral goes well. I can't imagine how you feel but am sending you (((hugs))) Say what you feel and from the heart, but perhaps writing down what you would like to say/ read at the funeral would be a big help...

Evening all, would love to know about the knives too if anybody has the time to let me know :D

OT but has anybody taken their kids to howletts zoo in Kent? Is it any good?

Howletts is good but a lot of walking, we prefer Port Lympne their other park as it does the safari experience. not sure if anyone else has answered you i'm still catching up. Both are good as give you annual pass for price of 1 day entry
