Evening everyone!
Just mowed the back lawn and I'm settling down to watch the DOI final now!
Bargain hunting at T's was a bit useless, only things of note were 3 large spag bol ready meals for 44p each, wombling at my local is never good so I never do a walk around the car park, really I need to be in Cirencester for any chance of a decent womble, so guess where I'm off to next week?
If I can be bothered I may also try Cheltenham as they're posh areas and more prone to people throwing CC points away!No Buying Unnecessary Toiletries 2023

I won't go into it as all seems happy now so glad to see normal service has been resumed here and thank you for the support you guys have offered me here on the forum thread or pm wise throughout my time of the forum, we really do have a great thing going here!
Anyway, just another reminder to look up into the sky tonight for the beautiful crescent moon and Jupiter and Venus, after seeing all the wonderful photos people have been posting here recently it's at times like this I wish I had a decent camera capable of capturing such an image!!0 -

I have mixed experience with showing my receipts when using a JTD voucher. I didn't have to show it today, but in the last couple of weeks, I've had the SA ask for the receipt every time and 2 receipts were signed. This is all in the same store!
I think there is something in the T's and C's about not being able to use a JTD if an item is returned. It says something about it being at their discretion...something along those lines, I'll try and find it!
I agree that you can still keep the 5 off 40 though. When I've done it in the past, I've always decided before returning the item, which means more the item return or the JTD just incase I get trouted on whichever I do 2nd.
I would use the JDT voucher before returning the item .I dont see how they can refuse a return if it was not matched on the receipt. From my experience all of us on here know more about Tesco voucher policy than most of the staff.0 -

Thank you, I have some idea of what I want to say but haven't written it out yet.
I haven't written the card to with the flowers yet either - not sure what would be suitable, first time doing this for family.:(
When my Dad died in October last year Mum , my 2 sisters and I all wrote a seperate card to put on the family wreath ( although my brothers did not ). My 2 sisters wrote both of theirs in Italian as Dad was from Italy and as I had looked after him every day for the last 8 months of his life I made a little joke about how I would not have to hoover out the gas fire every day now as he insisted on throwing his spent matches in there. He had Alzheimers so did not realise. My son and my niece as the oldest grandchildren read a bit each from the bible and my daughter read a lovely poem at the grave. Hope it all goes off ok. Hugs Rose0
