Good evening all:hello: I've been reading your thread for a while and I really enjoy the spirit, so I'll be happy if you let me join you and if somebody is looking for an apprentice - just let me know:)
I'm so sorry:(, that I missed the knives deal:D, but at least I've managed to bake some bread, not to mention what fun it is to follow some of the FB comments on MT's case.
My T's today was pretty modets- there were some reduced pears at the nearest T's - £0.25 per pack, found few " 1p" items (with the correct BC), but they scanned full price at the price-check scanner (probably common thing for my area- based in SE London). Bought also few tops for my DS - all SEL £3.5, but scanned at £1. Something new was that for 2 coupons for the mix the self-checkout starts beeping for assistance, but I guess it is about on which one one is scanning.
DH has spotted some Denby sets on his way back, probably will go back tomorrow and check on them, since today the kids were not in the best shopping mood.
Have a lovely evening:beer:...reality is a point of view...0 -

The right to a 28 day change of mind is indeed a separate policy but as you correctly state you are only entitled to a refund of what you should have paid, not what you did pay.
The maths also adds up. They give you 50 refund first store, 50 refund in store you return it to and resell for 100.
I understand they refund you £100, however £50 of this has already been refunded.
So I have been given DTD, leave the store, keep the item, Tesco are -item
However, if I was to return the item, Tesco would pay the second half of my refund (£50), put the item back on the shelf for £100, therefore gaining £50 that they would not have gained if I had kept the item ^^ Tesco -item + (-£50 refund + £100 sale) = -item +£50
I guess it is in Tesco own interest that DTD are returned..0 -
Evening guys :j :j :j :j
We were up and ready when the District Nurse came at 9.30 this morning and, after she'd gone, we went down to the car boot. Mr 3Dogs wanted to walk a bit so I left wheelchair in the van. He managed to walk, albeit slowly and unsteady, but got tired quickly. However, he enjoyed it and chatted to lots of our friends who were glad to see him walking aboutWe sat for a while having a cuppa and chat, before bringing home a bacon and egg sarnie each which we had when we got back. We'd been out from 10 till 12 noon, which was just right for him
The fog had lifted early morning but the cloud didn't clear until 12 noon when we were leaving, and it was cool down there, but lovely this afternoon. I took the dogs for a longer walk and then did a bit of clearing weeds between patio slabs. Alan watched recorded Sunderland match from yesterday and then has a nap before the afternoon live match. He is in bed now after a tiring, but enjoyable, day
I must admit to being glad that the virtual glitch is overas you could have cut the atmosphere with a knife at times on here today
Seriously, it's nice to see everything back to normal :j :j
Calmspirit - didn't see your 'rant' before you edited it but can understand what it must have been about ............. hope you are ok hun and feeling better and calmer :A :A I do know how upsetting it can be when your 'safe haven' is distrupted, but we always seem to get it back on track fairly quickly so you have to just ride it out until it settles againMr 3Dogs 3-7-12
