:T THANK YOU QOC! :TAwww you kept yours quietWhat do you have planned? Glad you've got the day off and fingers crossed the sun continues to shine!
Been a hard day for me not having Mum here and when she phoned earlier she sounded so exhausted and deflatedPoor love. She's looking forward to meeting you Tuesday though! She thinks I'm crazy with all my MSE'ing, she p'd herself laughing when I said we're meeting a 'friend of Martin's.' She's not very confident or quick at mental arithmetic so she just can't understand how I've got the nerve to do what we all do, though she's always very grateful of all my bargains!
Unfortunately that's the one thing that is going well, it's 30 degrees over there!
The sun will be shining and I will be in a pub garden with a lovely view across Bristol...i will take pics and post them :-)
I am really looking forward to Tuesday :j:j My first "friend of Martin" :j My mum thinks i'm mad too but I'm just proving to her that i am :rotfl:

We were up and ready when the District Nurse came at 9.30 this morning and, after she'd gone, we went down to the car boot. Mr 3Dogs wanted to walk a bit so I left wheelchair in the van. He managed to walk, albeit slowly and unsteady, but got tired quickly. However, he enjoyed it and chatted to lots of our friends who were glad to see him walking about
It sounds like today was a good day for you and Alan. I look for your posts if I'm on in the evening and really do wish you both all the best ((hugs)) You are very strong and brave and Alan must be very proud of you :ATiger :cool:

Hi everyone,
Ok so something happened in T's today that I thought was worthy of a post here. For some reason SA decided that they no longer accept printed price flops and wanted to know where I got them from, erm T's website!! I was using about 10 and was a bit annoyed until a lovely CS SA showed up with a pile of price flop booklets. She then got another 2 staff to help her tear all the vouchers that I needed out for me. Felt a bit guilty that I had 4 CS at my till tearing out vouchers while all the other tills were busy. Anyway after that I was planning on going around for another shop. As I knew I couldn't use my printed MOCs I resorted to hiding in the pop corner. So there I was stood with DD and a pile of price drops in the middle of the pop isle tearing out the MOCs while getting funny looks off the other shoppers. The worst of it is I didn't give two hoots. Long gone are the days that I care what i look like while getting the most off my shop.
Sorry - thats a bit of a waffle.0 -

You know the 1p Christmas lilac star shaped soaps in an organza bag?
My friendly SA approached me today as she had been given the task of clearing out all the things that had fallen under the shelves. Asked me if I wanted them as she knew they were 1p
Luckily I scanned them - £3 now :eek::eek::eek:
(Whilst she was talking to me my eyes did a very quick sweeping scan of the contents of her trolley :cool: - no treasure)
