Just wanted to post to say I agree with cosmic-dust - would prefer business as usual. Don't usually pop my head above the parapet on such things but this thread now makes very bumpy reading. We win so much from the usual pattern that does it really matter if there are one or two losses along the way?

I usually stick to the golden mantra DFTT and it does usually work. Opposite seems to have happened here. Just don't want to lose the things that makes this thread so great.

All this knife talk reminds me of the glitch last year, with the knives and baking tins.
The posh knives are great, but those tins they were originally charging a tenner for... one wash and the non-stick came off :rotfl:

My tins have been used loads of times and are fine. I would have returned them if I was you :j you could have got your money back, he he he

  • Could I just say 'Good Morning' to all you folk. I only discovered this thread yesterday altho' I regularly use many of the other MSE threads, especially the coupon and grabbit ones. I'm intrigued about the knives altho' i haven't collected any of the vouchers as figured they worked out too expensive - how wrong can you be?

If anybody here recognises my login name from the other threads I'd love to be pm'd about the knife glitch but totally agree that you need to be careful who you pass the info to.

Glad to hear so many of you have taken advantage of this and hope to get onto this thread more often - just don't always have time.

Happy shopping - or is that 'glitching'?
  • Just a quickie - Guarana Antarctica (500ml bottles) were in my Tesco extra charging at 90p for 12 bottles!!!! SEL definitely said for 12 but checkout charged me for 12 x 90p. Off to CS and received £19.80 back DTD! I've only seen these in tesco extras! Happy hunting!

Just catching up on last night. I wasn't going to say anything about the FB troll because IMHO it would have been far better to ignore him/her! Now it appears we have a funny back door hand shake club. :(

You are all letting the troll upset the forum, it's clear the troll reads here and HUKD but you have let him/her take over, it should be business as usual. Is Mark a regular poster on MSE/HUKD, you never know and the cloak and dagger approach is pointless if he/she is a regular.

C'mon people how long does it take T's to sort things out ;) Business as usual I say.
I have to say, I agree 100% with this. :(

As for the lurkers; how many of them will hang about after they get the info they need? Very few. That's just human nature, though; something for nothing and all that.

Someone should just post the knives info and we can then get back to normal. Mr(s) Tiller can do his (her) thing and we can move on. Speaking of whom ...

Post what you know; you can only be wrong.
