I too think its a regular poster someone that wants it both ways, grabbing glitches then running off to snitch hoping for a giftcard as a thank you

I totally agree. Mark Tiller has got to be someone from here. It's too much of a coincidence that he suddenly joined facebook to snitch on all the big current glitches last week..... The same time as there were arguments on here. It's got to be "one of us".....and I agree with Locarr that they have probably been given the glitch info in good faith.....
I'm sorry too for the newbies being left out on this one. It just takes one rotten apple doesn't it :(
My husband says he will leave me if I don't stop shopping......... God I will miss that man.

Its not cliquey, its call ed a community spirit. We are all cyber friends here.

If you don't the 'endless waffle' then theres other Tesco threads you can go and join.

Kindly leave us alone to run our thread the way we like (within MSE's framework of course).

You'll notice I said I had no problem with the chat.:huh:

there is no knife glitch , I've no idea who ,what or where this started but there is no glitch on the knives ....so...

All the lookers can go back to their nests , the rest of us can carry on as usual and the Facebook guy can send his e-mails .

Mistakes and glitches will happen again as many of them are man made (ain't men great) .
I guess we'll have to be in the right place at the right time to grab them .
I was young once , now I get older all the time .

These Tescos threads have become very cliquey as time has gone on. I have no problem with people chatting about random off topic subjects but it seems that unless you join in with the endless waffle you are considered a 'Lurker'.

Is every glitch going to be PM only or will this return to being a public forum?

If you have a look at the title of this thread, it's not actually all about T's.

I am speaking at my mum's funeral next week, the reverend asked if I would be up to it as if I fall apart others might get upset too - I think we're at a funeral already most will already be upset if I cry when talking about my mum then so be it.:o

Yes, it inevitably does make a difference if you know the person, though to be honest you can also get choked up when it's a complete stranger. If it's really a problem for you I'm sure her son will understand if you explain.

Another tip I've thought of is do NOT listen to the service/ tributes under any circumstances - you can't sing if your throat seizes up. I've sat hidden in the choir stalls and done a suduko to distract myself before today. I'm there to do a job and hopefully help people, not attend the funeral. Also, don't see it as a negative if people cry when you sing, tears can be an expression of joy, or cathartic. People have often cried when I have sung, and it's great to know you have connected with somebody that much (they tell me it's for good reasons, lol).

As an alternative is there any way you could record it in advance? Not as good as a live performance, but better than a record.

I always think to myself that if Sting could do a live concert on 9/11 (the recording is fantastic if you haven't heard it), then I can manage to sing in adversity too.
