  • customer is not always right, but in this instance, what the SA did is plain wrong. who gave her the authority to rip my coupon up. As far as i am concerned i gave the coupon to her, and she refused to accept it as a form of payment. it is still my property and that is wilful & criminal damage to my property, albeit being damage to a piece of paper.

if keeping a low profile/keeping my head under the parapet means that i will tolerate this kind of behaviour, then my head will be high and above the parapet.

i dont tend to stoop to their level, unless there is a need to do so.

I think you should contact HO - not because they didn't take your coupons - there is always another day / SA
but she was sooooo rude to you
    not necessary

good morning everyone, nice and bright here today
  • I'm not sure this is helpful bud, and its incorrect too imo.

Clearly this store doesn't know what they are doing as they were referring to the SSM coupons too. An SA has no right to accuse a customer of illegalities, specially in front of other customers. It could lead to litigation against their employer for starters!

I'm all for picking my battles but I wouldn't stand for being spoken to like that, having my property destroyed (pennies is quite right, its actually criminal damage) or being called a criminal in public.

A phone call to HO is definitely in order IMO.

    agreed
