    Care to share, sounds interesting

It was interesting actually. Not sure what company Y was (could google it if I want to and search for it) but it was on about theft at the self service checkouts at tesco:eek: and if it had increased having SSC's compared to manned staff tills.

Quite a good read. Link here PDF. If you have a spare half hour or so. Only 16 pages I believe so not too long.

In short their findings were that SSC's don't increase theft compared to the normal manned tills.

It also made me realized why my local store's self checkout area was completely re-fitted and changed into a "zone of control" with one way in and out.
Whereas before you could move freely. Now there's barriers and the tills facing inwards for Sales staff to easily view. Whereas before it was easy to have you're back against Staff as there was rows of machines. now just two straight lines of machines all facing inwards.

Hope that makes sense! bit late or earlier should that be:o

So did I - supportive, not at all rude!

Definition of rude (impolite, discourteous, bad-mannered and offensive - as per the comments by MMW)

Morning Tweets, and no doubt Westie and Miss Laid to follow along soon. And a very good morning to everyone else as their days start.

Woke up early today to make up for being such a slacker yesterday.

    Morning all!

Having my morning catch up with a gorgeous salmon sunrise dawning over the field opposite :)

I know it is a bit early for quoting people... still... I can't help but always wonder if Frequent is a secret poet??

Somehow I want to read his (?) posts like a haiku or expect a limerick to pop up! ;)

Yes, but only if there's an even better one tomorrow as well. Stacked day today, and I always think it raises the odds of a mega glitch occuring if I would struggle to get to a T

Distinct lack of sausages at my local. They seem to be very on the ball and got a feeling that they spotted the error and cleared the shelf. But I am going to have another little look today just in case. Exactly where I'm going to squeeze them into my freezer though is another question entirely.

Also I need to print off a few of those bread mix vouchers and look around as well.
