I know the price flop coupons work before the BOGOF or buy 2 for £3 offers kick in, but does anyone know if the coupons will work with something if its half price,
ie the pot dessert was £1.79 now half price, £0.89 so if you bought 2, could you use the price flop because the original total was £3 or would this not work?
    TIA..
No it wouldn't work, the till would only recognise the 89p
    :(

Haha I'm very much act first think later :\ some of the most simple things can take me ages to work out
my mothers boyfriend was in pub once and he rung me to look at chicken in oven see when it needed to be taken out. he said to me "open the oven and tell me if its moving" .. i opened the oven and was staring for ages before i said to him "no its not does that mean its not done" :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: needless to say he told everyone in the pub :( haha

oh i dont know i just saw it i dont even know what it is lol sorry :(

I recall saying something dumb too which still makes me cringe...

During a heated argument as a kid, my sister said "What did you just say?!". I replied coolly, "I don't repeat myself to fools". She said, "You what?". Me: "I don't repeat myself to fools...." :o

Sad day for me today - one of my best friends wrote on Facebook her husband died this morning. Their kids are 18 and 11 :( I want to go and console her but feel I will make her worse! I really dont handle death very well! I had a half brother die when I was 12, my dad died when I was 16 and my mum when I was 23 (as well as others like we all do) and I just dont seem to cope with it too good.

(On a slightly different note - is it just me or does it seems facebook is the way to find out bad news! Three weeks ago my family decided to tell me on facebook my grandmother had died. No wonder most phone providers are happy doing unlimited texts for cheap - no one texts anymore they all write it on a status on facebook instead!)
Kymie, what a sad time you've had ((hugs)). Perhaps you should give your friend a call to say sorry for her loss? I find it a bit strange that she would announce such sad news on FB though... FB would be the last thing on my mind on such a tragic day. Crikey, maybe I'm a bit more old fashioned (at 34)?!
I'd never announce anything on FB, if you are my friend, I'll tell you something direct.

No it won't work cos your receipt doesn't show the orginal price and then a discount ... it uses the current half price to arrive at a sub-total

BOGOFs count the value of everything you buy and then give you a multibuy discount after the sub-total to arrive at a total to pay

So sorry to hear this....I would go see your friend, just let let her cry/talk about her husband. Remember actions speak louder than words ...and I am sure she will appreciate your visit ...people do tend to shy away from people who have lost a loved one because they don't know what to say but just being there will help.
