Put it in a sealed bag with some rice, it's supposed to extract all the moisture out.

I can vouch for this - it works great!

Thanks Decay - should I still do this? I thought that 4 days in the airing cupboard would hopefully have dried it out enough. Don't want to put the electrics on in case it short circuits before it is properly dry though!

It may be ok , it may not :p
If you got some spare rice it won't harm for a couple of hours

I suspect that you may have a problem with a DTD refund unless you got the staff to log something in the CS book or some other written acknowledgement that there was an overcharge. Tesco frequently try every devious wriggle in the book to avoid paying up and they may say that you shouldn't have taken the SEL and that you could have taken it some other time when the offer WAS working.

Be prepared for an argument. (but I hope I'm wrong!)

The lady came over with me about 11pm last night and brought the sel back to the main checkout as no customer services that late at night. She went to throw the sel in the bin and advised she would just give me a refund. I then asked her for the sel to prove what the price would of been. I don't think there was anything else I could of done at that time of night?:(
    Now on the 5:2 diet.

    Lost 25 1/2 lbs :j:j:j 33 1/2 lbs to go

Just thought i'd mention after i read on here people discussing the Muller Rice offer..
I THINK they are on offer in Asda now as 2 for £5 rather than 2 for £3.28 so you wont get a wonderful JTD back (thats the offer showing on mysupermarket this morning anyway) HTH..
TBH I wouldn't have touched this with a barge pole simply because the coupon clearly states 1 per transaction and putting through 7 in one go... well is coupon abuse IMHO. (tin hat on)

And you are correct Asda.com states deal is 2 for a fiver.
I made a mistake once, believeing people on the internet were my virtual friends. It won't be a mistake that I make again!

Ring HO just so it's logged with someone apart from the store. Obviously you'll have to go back to the store if you paid by cash, but if paid by card perhaps customer services could arrange for the dtd to be put on your card ??

I've done it too, I actually put DS laptop in a bag with rice as well when he knocked a glass of water over it:eek::eek::eek: Apparently the worse thing you can do is switch mobiles or laptops on before they are fully dried out, and the other bad thing is to try to dry them with a hairdryer:eek:
    Beware!!!! Glitching is addictive:rotfl:

can i ask, are you all actually buying these rustlers at BOGOF or is the coupon scanning for more than £1 IYSWIM?
Also, can i ask, does anyone know if these freeze well?
    TIA
The rustlers coupons have to be entered manually as the prices vary from store to store and the coupons are bogof not a fixed discount.

Just been reading about granite worktops from last night. andreavinne, we had ours done 2 years ago (and nikkilala is right, they are fab for doing any pastry/bread as they remain cold). And also use a chopping board, don't cut/chop straight onto the surface. Re: cleaning, I use the Dettol anti bact spray (stocked up at 50p each) on a normal sponge cloth. Then I quickly wipe it down with a dry tea towel, to kind of buff it, and it sparkles like new.

I'm a body double for Claudia Schiffer and i wont get out of bed for less than [STRIKE]£10k per day[/STRIKE] a 1p find
