    Morning Everyone.

I'm feeling really good today and wanted to say a big thankyou to all of you - I think the training is beginning to pay off:D

I did a big shop yesterday and the total spend was £76.75, and I paid £45.05. Not as good as some of the masters but getting there don't you agree? I am well happy:j:j DH smiling too!:D (Was especially pleased as I had wrangled my way through a very full trolley park to womble a £9 off £60 spend.) I got a till spit for a fiver off the next £40 spend, and wombled another on the way back to the car:rotfl: (One question: Is the pleasure I feel normal??!!)

Now I've just got to practise keeping the shopping total nearer the conditional spend total, as I could have used £15 of this on the next £40 shop! Still, I am getting better at this so Thankyou all again!! :T:T:beer::T:T

Kadison - have had similar issues with friends. Someone then told me that some people only come into our lives for a certain time, rather than for always. It didn't stop me feelng hurt but it made it more bearable/bareable (spelling is rubbish!!:)) Hope you feel better soon, and concentrate on your other friends.

Yes I felt great that day I found the first 1p item and I too feel like a learner and would also echo your big thanks to everyone on here

Tenth Anniversary Combo Breaker Xmas Saver!
Morning all from a dull but dry Belfast :)

Just trying to work out which items to get from where using MOCs. I've printed out the Wrights ones but the barcode's tiny I hope Sainsbobs will take them. I also printed out the Rustlers ones because my brother loves the subs that are now on offer at Ts so Sainsbobs again for brand match on these hopefully.
Going through my coupon wallet to see what else I can get from Sainsbobs while I'm there then off to Ts, my brother has informed me his new house has a dishwasher so any cheapies on the stuff for it will help him :) looking for DTD but cheap will do. I'm just glad these 2 are just across the carriageway from each other.
    See you all later

I have one of these till splits but have not used it yet as i was a bit concerned it was going to taste like mellow birds or something similar, can i ask is it a mild or a strong tasty coffee as if its really week it will only end up in the bin so not really very MSE.

  • Morning all

Decided not to go to work today either, still feeling carp, got a Dr appointement in a wee while.

Not having the best morning either, when I was on the phone to my boss my DD emptied my purse and very 'helpfully' put all my loose change into her tin, which is a sealed one so I can't get it back out! That was meant ot last me the rest of the week.
And now I can't find my car key, and I have a horrible feeling it may be in my jeans pocket, which are currently spinning in the washing machine  If it were a normal car key it would be fine, but I have one of those stupid card ones so if it is in there I'm pretty sure it'll be knackered :( It's nearly done so I guess I'll find out soon!

Think I'll be heading back to bed very soon the way things are going :rotfl:

  • They so rarely have things reduced by more than about 10% in my tight-as-a-duck's-.... local so I was pleased to spot a lovely bunch of 14 bright pink roses this morning reduced from £7.00 to £1.75.

The lady manning the till had to laugh when I paid with a £1.65 JTD voucher and 10p! Love a bargain...
