Mine is 12 months as that is what I had the last few years so the renewal is for the same term.

Whether you have a 12 or 18 month contract depends on what you initially signed up for. If I remember correctly, there were two options for getting BT Infinity when I got it last year. One was just BT Infinity and was 12 months, the other was BT Infinity plus Unlimited Calls, which was 18 months but worked out cheaper each month over the contract.

I can't get BT to budge down from £13.25 for Option 3 BB and £4.90 for the anytime calls. Any ideas, I'm going through to the cancellations each time?

    Not exactly, from here http://www.bt.com/
    Click on PHONE
Which means a call package and line rental only.

    As other thread https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/3937713

18 month contract contradicting the front page.

Infinity is just BT's brand name for FTTC (fibre), been on it 13 months with a good ISP now on 30 day rolling contracts.
