Hi, can someone please tell me, to get the £13.60 on option 3, did you need to ask for your Mac code first, as I just rang and was offered £18.15? Thanks.Too many children, too little time!!!0

There's no co-relation between MACs and getting the deal from BT. If you're out of contract with your current ISP then by all means ask for a MAC, but that has no bearing on getting the deal.David.0 -

The first time I called before my contract was up I think I just spoke to sales who quoted me the current offer.
The second time I called I chose the recorded option to say I was leaving. When they answered I asked "Do I need a mac code if I am moving to Plusnet?"
The adviser asked me why I was leaving and I said that I had been told I could not renew at the same price I had last year.
She said that I could and that she would call me back on the day my renewal was due and she did.
When she called me back it took less than 2 minutes for her to place the order for me. I was very pleased with the service.0 -

The only problem I have with BT is the customer service. I have had a couple of problems with my bill.....they tell you one thing and then they don't do it:mad:houseofpat wrote: »When she called me back it took less than 2 minutes for her to place the order for me. If they offer me the same price I will stay with them. Do you know if a renewed contract is 12 or 18 months?0 -
