    Hello,
I've lost loads of weight (probably due to DMP worries!) so need a new dress for a 'do'. Just bunged 3 of my bigger dresses on eBay so I went to the CS to see what I could find: found a beautiful fitted dress from Monsoon at The British Heart Foundation shop for £8.50 and a cotton Kate Moss @ Top Shop dress for £4.00.
Only problem is, I'm tempted to stick the Monsoon dress in the washing machine rather than get it dry cleaned. Seems silly to spend money on dry cleaning after buying a bargain frock! It's 30% silk, 70% cotton. Any advice?
DMP launched 04/07/17 left to pay = £14,238.79 (£16,982.82 original debt.) Thanks to MSE & all you wonderful Forum Peeps!:T

Fully lined purple Monsoon summer dress, a taffeta-looking fabric with a shine to it and embroidered in metallic thread down the front with various shades of purple, lilac, grey and silver flowers & leaves and the odd quality sequin (some are leaf-shaped) and some lovely beading.
    Just on the knee length.

Says 'Dry Clean only' but no chance.
I put this dress ^^^^ in the washing machine on the 'silk/delicate' wash and it's come out lovely.

It does say 77% viscose, 23% nylon with 100% polyester lining.
Probably marked 'dry clean only' because of the metallic thread, sequins and beads.

I've washed 100% silk and part silk items on the above programme and never had a problem but I guess it's always a risk.

A beautiful huge cream coloured metal French wall clock for £2 - looks antique, but isn't as it runs on a battery :) and a Catmate automatic cat feeder bowl for £1.

The wall clock is to go in my lovely log cabin craft studio, which is being built for me at the end of this month hurrah hurrah can't wait so excited. :)

Anyone 'oop north' looking for a glamourous evening dress? Age Concern in Ilkley have a gorgeous :heart2: Ted Baker, brand new, short black one, sadly in a teeny, teeny size 0. It has a lace top with lovely beadwork and a swirly chiffon skirt with attached net petticoats. Only £79!! ;)

On my way home from a fruitless trip to the Ilkley chazzas yesterday I had to stop orft in the Otley St Gemmas 99p chazza where I found a b/n M & S 3/4 sleeved jersey top in black with a discretely beaded scoopy neck.

Today, passing by the BHF shop near to home I spotted a pale cerise and white patterned kaftan stylee top in fine lawn material with lovely pink and silver beading and pearly sequins round the neck and down the front. Really pretty and reduced to half price at £1.14. (What strange prices they have!)

(I seem to have a 'bead' thing going on today!!:o)

In a different town yesterday and spotted a pair of 3/4 length trousers in a red/orange colour which matched the top i was wearing really well, for £2, and then a floaty wallis top where the top part was cream but then it graduated (is that the word) down to the exact red/orange colour towards the bottom, with butterflies on it, for £3. Then in another shop a dressing gown for DH for 3.99 - he had a spare which DS took to uni and has been wanting it replaced for a while. So I think I will be returning to this particular town again!
    May spend - £291.40/£320.00
    June spend - £106.40/£320.00

    It's going to be 14ft x 16ft so it'd be a lovely walk in wardrobe. Or library. I just can't wait :):)
